Very huge place. Many things to see in the farm with farming machineries, vintage house, farm shed, schools, etc. You can spend hours here. Ample parking area. Toilet is at reception area only.

Fantastic. Extensive collection of all kinds of local mining and especially farming history. Bring plenty of time, it's overwhelming! My favourites were the social aspect of women living and working on farms, the extensive collections of farm life artefacts showing their historical development (including a sizeable washing machine collection, respect for that!!)

This was fantastic! The gentleman at the V.I.C. was a great character and lovely to talk to. Mini golf is a nice touch for something different, and having the brewery just next door is an excellent tourism idea!

The museum was $10 to get in, I thought it was worth. Surprisingly extensive and pretty kid friendly. I particularly loved the 'her story' section about women's role in early settlement of Australia and farming through history, fascinating. Kids loved the ride on train which was fun and cheap ($2).

Excellent museum well worth heading towards if you’re in the area. Best collection of farm machinery all in excellent condition. Also great to see the women and children having their own special stories be being given due importance

Could have spent a whole day here. There's so much to do and so much to see... including the putt putt mini golf which is always a family favourite.

This may well be the best regional museum (pioneer, indigenous, farming and farming equipment, transport) we have seen. The various displays are very well laid out in large sheds. Historical farming machines are amazing in both quantity and quality.Allow at least a couple of hours to visit the centre. Congratulations to all involved in the restoration / preservation of this wonderful display!!
An absolute credit to all involved!

The little play cafe inside the centre is perfect for kids from 1-8ish. Cheap fun, around $4-5 for them to play. Mini golf for the older kids and adults, and those who like a bit of history, there is a self guided tour. A gift shop is there as well, with some fine goods made in the local area. All run by volunteers as well. Busy times (holidays and weekends might need booking.

Great indoor play and museum area.
Reasonably priced entry and food, kids stayed for hrs. Nice little gift shop too.
Update: We have since been back several times, whole family loves how they place is up kept, they do an amazing job. The mini train is such good value and run by lovely volunteers. And the new mini/crazy golf is well done and great value.

Love the displays, there is something for everyone here. A wee train for a ride, a huge range of trucks, tractors & farm machinery sharing the history of the region, the cottage display, the schoolroom display from the 60s and the various day-to-day life displays as you enter the first shed.
Great toilet facilities in the main entrance building & a mini tourist info centre for the region.

Bring plenty of time as there is so much to see and read! 'Kadina Story Museum' provides a lot of historical content and draws connections to local businesses.
'Her Side of the Story' exhibition gives an impressive and honest review of the life of rural women in South Australia.

Excellent museum. One of the best I have been to. Such a great insight into the history of the area. Especially loved the house built for the mine manager.
Also great gifts at the Tourist Information Centre.

Been there it great to learn about the past history of the mining industry brings back memories because of the old school house that they have. The old desks are there that we used to sit at when I was at primary school and high school. Great place to visit friendly people it took an hour half to see it all doesn't look big from the outside really big.I recommend it to any tourist that visits the Copper Coast.
