OMG this place serves amazing fresh and traditional Italian cuisine - in fact possibly the best in Melbourne (big call I know). 17 years young yet new to the location on Kigsway Dorcas st, you must eat here. Only open for dinner Thursday and Friday nights however lunch time it buzzes. The specials are fabulous, the ingredients are truly from the garden and the taste is soooooo Italian. A great selection of wines and fabulous service. Tell everyone, after you try it for yourself.

I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. It initially appears to be just a small nice cafe until you dive I to the menu and see some standout dishes! The calamari is a highlight along with the service you receive from the friendly staff.

The most incredible Italian food I've had in a while. So authentic and flavoursome. Great service... Tiny mix up with the menu... We didn't even complain but the manager took it upon himself to come apologise and offer us free coffee. Will definitely come back for more. Only took one pic cause I was too busy eating 😉😉

This place was surprisingly good. I went here for lunch and the appetisers were good, the mains good value and service was great.

The interior has a relaxed vibe and there are some great Italian treats that you can pick up. Recommend if you are over that side of town.

One of our favourite Melbourne restaurants. We used to go pretty often when we stayed in the area, and when Susie and crew were still at their original location. We have since moved to the suburbs and they have also moved on to a bigger and better place. We've visited the new setup a couple of times now and I'm glad to say that the quality of the food and the general feel of the place has not changed for the worse.

Susie still takes great care of all her guests, rattling off countless specials off the top of her head as soon as you're seated. They obviously have a bigger staff now that the dining area has multiplied in size, but the new servers are all quite well trained.

The food is still excellent. The prices CAN be high sometimes, and it doesn't help that it is sometimes not easy to find the price of the specials. But they are not exorbitantly priced for the quality that you end up getting.

Highly recommended, wishing them continued success.

Only had coffee and a few after work drinks but the service is fantastic and the staff are happy. Always acknowledge you even if they can’t get to you which is pretty rare these days!
Love the interior design and quite upmarket. Outside in the sun is a great spot too.

Very well presented restaurant with attentive staff. Food is tasty. Also went here for a quick coffee and it's also great. They have a live jazz band on Fridays on their lovely terrace. The interior is top notch, above and beyond anything else in the area.

Great vibe, everything is wonderfully fresh... pastries so yummy. I had both breaky and lunch there, the food is really 5 star. The music is so relaxing, I was able to do my work there for most of the day! I was told Friday night's they have live jazz and funk, definitely coming back for that 😁

With a specials menu as long as the regular menu, be sure to pay attention as your waiter runs through them! Their gnocchi is outstanding as were the meatballs. Good coffee and an excellent selection of slices and sweets as well.

Food was absolutely delicious. Had tuna salad & truffle fries. Upmarket venue. Good service. I made a mistake in our preorders (big group) & they were happy to swap it without cost to me. Thank you.

Smart fitout, great outdoor space and professional service paired with fantastic classic and modern Italian fare. Slightly pricey but in return you're getting some of the best quality food in the locale. Daily specials are worth checking out and their sandwiches are exquisite.

Amazing place. I regularly go there for a coffee. The team is amazing, they are so friendly. They serve coffee and wide range of meals across the day. If you are Southbank, checkout this place.

Suzie and her staff are always on ball with great knowledge and service. Good selection of food and wine. Have always ordered from the chef's specials and never been disappointed. Great for intimate dinners or groups.

Great coffee at an affordable price during the day, and at night the outdoor area is really great for an after-work drink. Highly recommend at least checking out Arkibar.

What an amazing place to dine. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. They're beautiful people who serve with genuine love for what they do. I can't wait to go back.
