Excellent service super fast food and was very nice Indian food. The restaurant has a great atmosphere for outside dining out the back you can see all the animals and mountains ⛰ while having dinner. There is a great selection of drinks. We have been going here for many years.

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back again! The atmosphere, decor, food and staff were all way beyond what we expected from an Indian restaurant in a country town. Best Indian food I’ve ever had, and definitely the funnest venue - the robot waiter helpers were the best thing ever, we all had a giggle at those. Portions were generous, tasty and mild as requested which was nice. Staff were very friendly and polite, and the place was spotless. Highly recommend!!

I recommend the chicken mixed platter gives you a taste of different flavours. Also, great garlic naan.

Absolutely loved this place. Their food is very delicious! Quick and good service. We have attempted to dine in at this place many times at every visit to Halls Gap but due to the business it’s hard to get a table. But finally, it happened, and was really memorable due to a robot waiter which was entertaining everyone with fast delivery. We enjoyed every bit of it! Highly recommended 👌🏻

Food was delicious. Very quick service, had our meals in minutes which was ideal for two famished travellers. Staff were friendly and very chill. Service was so quick and robot waiters added some entertainment. Prices were very decent and portions were filling. Would recommend the Lamb vindaloo.

I went to Spirit of Punjab with my husband in January who himself had already visited the restaurant with his friends about 7 years ago. He only had to say good things about the restaurant and when I got to the restaurant I could see why. The food, the service, the ambience everything was amazing. What I really loved was their cardamom tea the taste was so flavourful. It is not your average Indian restaurant rather it’s kind of a restaurant that serves you home like food at a restaurant and its not an easy thing to do. So kudos to the chefs and managements. I really hope that they expand their chain so that we dont have to drive all the way to Grampians to savour their food 🤭

Came in for dinner as we had drove through town and it looked really busy.
The service was good as we entered to restaurant, the gentleman at the door was polite and friendly when he sat us at our table and explained how to order.

The restaurant looks clean, the decor was really good, statues out the front and art on the walls, I would have liked the blinds open for a bit more of that beautiful Hall's Gap scenery but overall was really good.

The meals came out really fast and delivered to us on a little robot, it was cool however I wasn’t sure if I just grab from the robot or wait for a staff member to do it.
I ended up grabbing my meals and started eating, the flavour was incredible, portion size was good and we really enjoyed the whole experience.
Thank you team for a lovely night out.

What an experience. Friendly staff, excellent food but great service!!! Service is by a robot. Entertaining. We ordered a few entrees between the two of us and a main each plus condiments. Very quick service. These guys actually stop you from ordering your main after you have given them your order for the entrees. They give you time. You don't get that very often, most these days get you out of there to get the next lot in. This restaurant is in Halls Gap, it's winter and they were pretty full so for them to let you go at your own pace I respect them. I would recommend booking. Next time we dine here I will ask them about how hot/spicy we can have the dishes. This would be the only downfall from the staff. I think they need to ask how hot you would like the dishes as ours were dished up mild only. I think they could probably add in recommendations of side dishes on their menu. Would help with upselling. 9/10

What an absolute treat to eat at this wonderful restaurant. Feeling let down unable to find any other restaurants or pub's kitchen's open at 8pm on a Sunday in peak holiday season we were kindly told when phoning to head down and they will arrange a table for us. A scenic 10min walk from the Halls Gap Breeze Caravan we arrived to be greeted by friendly staff who asked our preference on an inside or outside table. It was a lovely warm evening with some storm clouds threatening rain but decided to take the chance and enjoy the balmy evening dining on the terrace. Well we couldn't have hit the jackpot anymore. Not only did the wildlife turn it on for us with dear meandering in the surrounding field, dragonflies. birds and butterflies playing about as a rainbow appeared in the distance from the short light sprinkle of rain. The restaurant staff waiting patiently for us to order while we took it all in. The food once ordered came out promptly and the presentation was everything you would expect from a top class restaurant. We ordered the tandoori chicken for entree, Mango Lamb, Beef Korma, Garlic Naan and Basmati Rice along with a side of Raita a couple of Corona's and a glass of the Raven SB which I was most impressed with. It was the most delicious Indian both myself (a lover of Indian cuisine) and my partner (not so much a fan of most Indian meals) have ever had...that's saying a lot! We are both from WA and I will most definitely be making this a priority restaurant to return to the next time we visit the area. One thing...the midgee's were out and about so best to bring some mosquito repellent if dining outdoor's as there is water in the surrounding field that is possibly a breading ground. Thank you Spirit of Punjab for a wonderful dining experience while visiting Halls Gap...we look forward to seeing you again as we eagerly await our next delicious Spirit of Punjab meal!

First time experience of this Indian restaurant during our holiday trip to Grampians. Very well maintained restaurant in this region of Victoria. The front part of the restaurant depicts theme of Punjab state of India, gives you lively vibes. Plenty of seating arrangements inside and even outdoors in case you could not book a table on time. Unbelievably, it is busy in evening time. Food quality is good, price wise not bad either considering the quality. The new thing we noticed in this restaurant was inique way of delivery on your table by a robotic device.Overall, a very good family restaurant.

This was my best experience of indian cuisine in Victoria. We have tried Chicken Malai Tikka, Pulao, Safron rice, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Kurma. Each of the items turned out to be outstandingly delicious. The service was great, staffs are very well behaved. They were really quick and food was fresh and yum. The place is not that costly in respect to the taste of the food. It is also well decorated. You can sit inside or in theke backyard with a beautiful view. Highly recommended.

I thought this quirky gem of a spot the best place to eat in Halls Gap. The owners have put a lot of time and money into the decor with some fabulous statues and artworks. There is an intricate wooden facia around the bar and a pair of very cute robots that deliver your food. The food itself was delicious and very filling. The level of spiciness was mild to my palette - but I quite like spicy food.

NB: For the kids and kids at heart. The bots react to being petted - so strange but so charming.

Spirit of Punjab is always worth a visit when in the Grampians area - it never disappoints. Extensive menu which can be varied to cater for a timid Aussie palate. The staff are amazing and are attentive to your every need. I just wish it was closer to my home so I could eat here on a regular basis. Thanks all at the Spirit of Punjab!

Food was delicious, we ordered Tandoori platter, butter chicken, beef vindaloo, naan and saffron rice. They have robots delivering food to your table which was pretty cool. The only problem I had was a patron next to our table was taking pics and videos of the robot while it was delivering food to us and that made me feel very uncomfortable to have my pics/videos taken by a stranger without my permission.

Food and service were fantastic! And the delivery of the food by the robots was an unexpected novelty and made for a fun evening. A lot of effort has been made to make dinner at this place a great experience and it's much appreciated.

I can’t fault it. The moment we got there we smelled something nice.

The staff were friendly and the professional.
They paid attention to the customers, so we didn’t wait for long to get our order done.

It took them 8 minutes to serve our main courses. We got the drinks just after we placed the order.

The service was really fast and the quality of food was fantastic.
We ordered garlic chili chicken and tandoori chicken medium spicy. Couple of naans and plain rice. The Chia tea tasted different from the regular cafe’s.

The front and back garden are beautiful. We saw a deer, some kangaroos, and a kookaburra from the back garden.
