Halls Gap Hotel Restaurant

Been here two years ago, this time we came after a long day hiking late a evening. Have no where else to go as it’s late but this amazing staff said we would be able to just walk in.
Nice comfortable luxury dining area as memories it was.
Food was served quickly and was more than satisfying. The ingredients they used are creative and delicious.
Really wonderful dining experience would recommend whoever comes here for the perfect holidays choices.

Great food and awesome views of the Grampians. Hard to get in so make sure you book. A very popular dining spot for Halls Gap. Food is not the cheapest but of good quality. Enjoyed our meal with the fam and highly recommended. We always try to get in whenever we are in or near Halls Gap.

Lovely restaurant with a large dining area indoors as well as outdoors. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was prompt. The meal portions for the Chicken Schnitzel and Chicken Parmigiana were generous and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable. There was a large parking area. Great for dining in or for takeaways.

Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Food and drink selection was good. Most importantly the staff are some of the best staff I have ever had. They were incredibly friendly and fast with ordering and bringing food out. Definitely worth booking if you're in the area

Lovely meal, friendly staff, great atmosphere. A bit pricier than the other options in town but well worth the extra expense.

Halls gaps was flat out during our visit and it was great to see families using the playground and playing out on the grass. Despite being extremely busy we were served quickly and didn't have to wait. Our meals were wonderful and so were the cocktails. It is certainly a country pub and with expectations as such it offers in spades.

This was my third time having dinner here and always got the same meals. The sweet potato chips slightly changed but are still nice and the parmi is good as usual. It’s always busy especially if you come on the weekends. My fave part of eating here is that I get watch the roos hopping the birds flying while enjoying my food.

We had the most wonderful experience at the halls gap hotel on NYE 23/24. The food was 10/10 and the service time was even better. We ordered and within 10 minutes our meals were on the table! Much appreciated with young children who get restless and the table if the meals take awhile. Thank you halls gap hotel 😊

Holidaying close by and went here for a Sunday night dinner. Glad we booked online as they full. Pleasant waitress seated us near the welcome fire. After looking at the menu we went and placed our orders. Entree of the sourdough cob with garlic butter and steamed dim sums came quickly and nice and hot. Full of flavour. Mains arrived next, crispy pork belly for me and porterhouse steak for him. His steak was cooked how he likes and my pork belly was very tender with a crunchy crackling. Enjoyable meal and even though the place was packed staff were attentive and the meals prompt.

Beautiful place great food, sit next to the burning 🔥 that was lovely! the kids was a little bit loud and running around but other than that great 👍

Great menu with fresh tasty dishes. Includes options for gluten free and vegan. Staff are friendly and helpful. Fires burning in the dining room and the bar make winter visits cosy. OK range of tap beer with some excellent options in the fridge. Excellent wine list with some fantastic local wines. Heaps of parking, but is also connected to other parts of the town by a sealed shared bike path so walking an excellent option for longer sessions (and the local police keep a close eye on those that drive).

The meals in this bistro are first class and there is an extensive wine list. The young staff were very friendly and efficient. I attended with a group over a few days and all the food was interesting, well prepared and delicious.

Great food and great setting for the kids too with indoor play area. While we were expecting an ordinary pub food, we got served gourmet food, which we really enjoyed and the kids too! It was way too hot to sit outside but the outdoor setting is fantastic with a great view of the scenery and the surrounding mountains.

We had dinner here. The food was amazing and so were the staff. Very friendly. Hand help full. Great wine list. And food was good. Nice big fire.

Great place to spend a pleasant afternoon sitting out on the deck

Having visited this pub for so many years as visitors to Halls Gap I must say I feel it's at its best. The friendliness quality of Food and Bev and improvements of the deck and bar is great - Steaks a little standard for price.

Amazed that they were able to fit our large group of 17 in at the last minute. Great service and very quick delivery of our hot and tasty meals

Large and busy country pub, delicious meals, spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. Plus views to native forest and east side of Grampians range.

My husband and I recently visited Halls Gap and were very impressed with the food at this hotel. While there are pub meal favourites on offer, there were also other very delicious options!
We enjoyed share plates one evening. Then returned for lunch the following day and again we were both impressed! Thank you to the Chef and all the staff.
