Waves on the Beach Restaurant

Came here for an impromptu birthday lunch on a Monday. We were able to get a table on the balcony and there was a lovely breeze. The service was great, it was a little busy so slow at times but not in a negative way. The food was excellent to our pleasant surprise. We ordered a few starters to share and all were great! I especially liked the calamari and prawns.

Had a really good lunch at Waves on the beach, the fish and chips was really good, and the meals my friends looked really good also. The Brussel sprouts and the cauliflower are really nice. This place is an absolute hidden gem, and all I have to say is do yourself a favour and have a really good meal at Waves on the Beach. Excellent customer service all round from the staff.. big kudos to the chef, kitchen and wait staff.. you do a fantastic job and I can’t wait to get back to waves !

Great food, generous portions and definitely good value for money! Their outside terrace has a beautiful view towards the seaside & sunset - so we enjoyed a lovely dinner here!

Have been there twice now and both times there were many guests but beside being pretty busy everyone was friendly and I didn't waited too long for ordering and food. Vegan options are great, tested the chickpea curry and jackfruit salad and can recommend both. Awesome location for dining during sunset!

Lovely restaurant and lovely food. Reasonably priced and decent sized meals.

I would advise arriving 15mins prior to booking to get a parking spot! Very busy car park in peak season!

For the location and prices I was very surprised this place wasn’t more busy. We did eat from 1pm-1:45pm so perhaps we just missed the lunch rush.

The chicken salad and baked penne were very good. The salad had more rice than anticipated but didn’t deter from the meal.

You do need to pay to park. It was around $3 an hour max 2 hours. Limited shaded area.

Had the barramundi really good, well cooked, large, moist portion. Tasty sides, excellent affagoto desert. Beach views, good service. Reasonable prices. Well worth dinner, evening drinks

Great friendly service and conversation was great while placing order and super hospitality during dining.

I don’t often leave reviews but in this case I felt Waves truly deserves the recognition! The food, particularly the vegan selections, was both delicious and reasonably priced. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness were remarkable. Plus, the picturesque location and breathtaking views added to the overall charm. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!

Chef is very talented. Ordered 2 large plates, both were delicious. We had a very lovely evening by the beach. It is expensive but the food is worth the $. Must go!

The food was delicious but the toilet required the soap as it was look like hasn’t been refill for a long time.I hope someone will read this.

Seafood is very fresh! Love the seafood linguine so much! Salmon is also pretty nice. The restaurant is right next to the beach so it'll be better to come during the day for a better ocean view. Staffs are really friendly too! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The terrace offers a stunning vantage point to witness a breathtaking sunset, creating the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable dining experience. There were 19 of us beautiful friends and sisters who went to Waves for my birthday on the 27/01/2024. Five of us selected the vegan options and the vegan food was sensational and delicious! Everyone was talking about their dishes and no one was disappointed.

The service by the Waves girls (waitresses) were exceptional and they catered to our needs and would check to ensure we were happy and satisfied customers.

I would highly recommend Waves to all people and all dietary preferences.

We had dinner here for my fathers birthday. i was very impressed with the menu. our meals were all superb.
the staff were friendly and organised.
We will definitely be back to try some more of the menu .

Food was delicious, atmosphere & view great and service was quick. The serving size is huge.
As a bonus they can split the bill if you like. Best to book in advance. They have some tables outside on the balcony where you can enjoy the view, though if it's a windy day I'd give that a miss. Allow extra time for parking.

Amazing food, atmosphere and cool vibes. We went for dinner hence we missed the views! What a shame. But the food was delicious and the staff was extremely polite! Would definitely visit again during the daytime to see the views!

My first time at Waves. Couldn't be more satisfied. Everything was perfect for a b'day luncheon for 2. Service was very friendly and efficient. Orders arrived on time. Food is fresh, tasty and well proportioned.
Worth the cost and happy to go again. Well done Waves.

Million dollar views, great food and excellent service.

An hours drive from Melbourne, but worth the journey . The food was excellent and the service exemplary.. a reasonable selection of wine that would cater for most task .. picking the right day , finish off your meals with a stroll along the beach . Enjoy
