Such lovely people with great service, just minutes away from a good shopping district. Very affordable, and great food. While decor and the rooms are a bit worn, it’s very cozy.

Bathrooms and toilets are shared, though it’s not a problem. There clean and useable.

Clean room, clean bathroom (note that the bathrooms are shared, it’s a pub), comfy bed and meals right downstairs. The staff are all friendly and were happy to make me a cup of tea at 9pm. The area is right next to Chinatown (food!!!) and also within striking distance of come of the best coffee in Adelaide.

Perfect spot for those looking for a comfortable and affordable home base in the CBD. Close to most major central attractions such as the market, dining options, bars, etc. with staff all very friendly and accommodating.

For my purpose of a cozy place to crash during a brief weekend catching up with local friends this venue exceeded expectations - I will absolutely stay here again when visiting Adelaide.

I went there a few times, but the last one, at 9.30 people from there started to close everything and we were outside, just finishing our last drink. They were hurrying up putting chairs and tables away just in front of our face. It wasn’t good for us because they just sold us our drinks 20 minutes before that.
Anyway, we’ll continue going because on weekends it’s a really good place to go for a drink.

Went to the venue to see the Paul Kidney Experience. Great show, by the way. Had dinner at the pub, a delicious kangaroo salad, and a decent selection of beers. And the stage was nice, plenty of space and a good sound engineer.

It's a good accommodation for someone who enjoys old school pub accommodation. Perfect for me to get a few drinks before hitting the bed. Not recommended for delicate sleepers.

Went to the pub several times with mates for beers... Good meal and great dessert too.

First time in a long time. Busy night with the show on at Her Maj next door but we'll resourced and friendly service. Will be back!

A great pub in the heart of Adelaide's CBD - A perfect candidate for knock offs

There's very few distinctions (for me) between a good pub and a great one, but the Metro is able to flex it's location, prices and options to be considered great

Love coming here after a week of work to have a few drinks with work colleagues and discuss the weekend at hand. The environment is accommodating and the staff are equally friendly

If you are in Adelaide near the Central Market or are attending a show at Her Majesty's theatre next door this is the place to go.
The Metro has many rooms for dining/drinks and an atrium to enjoy in the warmer months. Pre-booking a meal before a show is recommended as the restaurant gets very busy on those nights. The menu is varied and are good value for money. The staff are very helpful and friendly. This venue is a modern pub which retains its many features and is a nice surprise near the centre of the city. Do try it

Great place. Beer is cold. Staff good. Place is good. Photos don’t show the entire establishment, but there’s a big chicken parmy eating area, a place where bands play, few pokies etc.

Excellent pub vibes is that’s something you’re interested in mate. Directly across from the central markets in Adelaide. When you get lunch at the markets you might find the metro calling you….saying ‘comon mate…. quick guiness won’t do ya any harm’…

AC/DC pinball machine. Good beers on tap selection. Often a wood fire going when it’s cold. Rock and roll, over and out.

Great for a casual catch up. Fabulous atmosphere. Band room out off the beer garden with awesome acoustics. Staff are very friendly and welcoming as well as competent. Love this place.
