Calm and surreal location. Dense rain forest and pure air and water. Refreshing breathe, a different world experience. Just have to be careful driving down here as the road is very narrow and lot of bends up the hill

A great little waterfall in the middle of the Tarra Bulga forest. You can stop for a look and continue down the road to one of the many picnic areas in the area and enjoy what the Tarra Valley has to offer. Just note that this road in either direction is very narrow, and there are lots of sharp bends.

Cute little waterfall, worth a quick stop and look. There are steep stairs and a tree trunk growing across, so the little walk down to the viewing platform is only suitable for fit or able bodied people. Not wheelchair friendly.

This waterfalls is so close to the road and carpark that one only has to descend the steps on the road shoulder.

The step and railing only reach a third of the length of the cascades. Many photos are showing a distorted view of the fall as the mid point platform, one could only pan the camera to show a flat fall. The actual falls are quite steep.

The walk from the car park to the waterfall was a huge 1min stair decent and you are then faced with a stunningly big waterfall.
Great for all ages and skill levels.

Lovely Falls a short drive into the national park. Plenty of parking. A few steps to get down to the viewing platform. Less than 20 seconds walk.

Well worth a visit. There are various photo opportunities along the road as you head to the main car park and Tarra Valley walk. The road is narrow but in great condition. A fantastic afternoon out

Wasn't expecting this place, spectacular views and only a short work from car park with steps and handrails. Definitely worth a visit.

The falls are basically right next to the car park area which is on the side of the road. There are steps to go down to view the falls to about midway. The best time to see a really flowing waterfall wpuld probably be either on a rainy day or just after it has rained however it is still an attraction along this stretch of road that can't be missed.

Veer off road, park car, walk down steps, tilt head sideways, view falls - Tarra Falls is that easy. Approaching from Yarram, the falls are located on a roadside turnout, about 1 km south of the Tarra Valley Picnic Area. There are no facilities at the falls and no walk required to reach the falls, so for most people this will be a quick stop on the way to other parts of the Tarra-Bulga National park

Best season is spring

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! I hadnt even planned to go here but as the fates would have it i got lost coming into the National Park from the other end and this was the first stop. I was mind blown by its size and the stunning fauna surrounding the fall. Give its only a few steps down from the car park its a very little effort waterfall experience that you can get nice and close to

Tarra falls is easy access & picturesque track leads to larger waterfall upstream Cyathea Falls. Lots of tree ferns in gully & opportunities to spot wildlife living harmoniously in nature.

Loved it. Beautiful waterfall in the middle of the Tarra forest. This is located right on the side of the road, so no walking needed. Just some steps to multiple viewing platforms.

Beautiful place to visit. Magnificent walk over bridge with ferns below. Were delighted to see two wild peacocks on our walk. Easy level of fitness to do the full walk around.
