Yarram Commercial Hotel Motel

We were recommended to have dinner here at the Commercial Hotel whilst we were holidaying in Port Albert. What a gem of a place. Our meals were superb and the service was great. Will come again next time we are in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for both the location, the service, the high quality food and atmosphere.

We've eaten here so many times through Dec and Now Jan while at our holiday house at Port Albert.

Food has been incredibly good every time. Special mention to the curries on curry night (Sunday) and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Oh, will had the Szechuan Pork Bowl to my list.

I didnt stay the night but SUPER vegetarian/vegan friendly! The staff were lovely & accommodating for any food edits- I had the vegetarian (fake) schnitzel burger- super yummy & as someone who is usually stuck with just chips, very impressed. Would 100% come again if im in the area!

The commercial hotel is a lovely pub in the heart of Yarram. We sheltered here from the rain while waiting on the laundromat. The publican was very welcoming, helped us out with coins for our washing (bank closed due to COVID) and cold beers. Fantastic friendly service. Will be back for sure.

We went down for dinner and all 18 of us walked out absolutely amazed by the quality of the food and quick and orderly time of food being out, the friendly staff, how promptly our table was cleared and cleaned.
If your thinking of going here for a meal... definetly do. You will not be disappointed we will definetly be doing a 4 hour trip back again!

What a beautiful place to eat. We were recommended this place as we were holidaying with our dogs at Best Friends Pet Retreat. The Commercial has a covered pet friendly dining area out the back.
The staff were amazing and thoughtful. As soon as you walked in, you were greeted with a smile and great attitude. This was all before you got your food.
The food was beautiful. We ordered from the lunch menu and the range was very good as was the pricing.
We were concerned that there would not be many gluten free options for a coeliac but we need not have worried. Almost everything on the lunch menu had a gluten free option. They list it as gluten friendly but they take great care not to cross contaminate.
If you are anywhere near Yarram then you can't go past the Commercial as a place to have a great meal.

Popped in for a meal on "curry night". Was one of the tastiest curries that I have eaten in a long time. Could have used a little more heat but very tasty anyway.

Great food, attentive service from friendly employees. Great vibe. Highly recommend.

With Shane's help, I organised a Christmas lunch for 12. It was a great success and may well have set the precedent.

Good Hotel in Middle of main street.
Great Pub meals of large size. Excellent service.
Motel out back is very basic but clean.
Bring your own fan heater in winter as rooms are freezing. There is an electric blanket in the cupboard.

Nice atmosphere for a quiet Beer or two.
I haven't seen the Rooms but I'm sure there more then adequate.

The waitress, young dark haired in a bun, was so lovely. She asked if I had been here before and when I said no she was very welcoming, pointed out where the toilets were, where to order drinks and food!!! Amazing service and the food was as great!!!

Fantastic country pub with my favourite cider on tap and a terrific menu. Fiona is the archetypal barmaid: anyone writing a book who wants to know how it's done properly should observe her for a few hours; cheerful, friendly and uber-competent, she embodies the spirit of the profession. Well worth a visit (or three).

Great food, good service, good value.

Comfortable beds with tea/coffee making facilities and a toaster. No frills but clean, warm and in a central location.

The bistro staff are excellent. Especially the young man who greeted and seated us. He was really helpful and made us feel very welcome.

This is a really good place to go for a big, value for money meal.
I've been a few times now, and my wife and I are never disappointed. Staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is good.
Will definitely be going back.
