Balancing rock is a very accessible walk only a few minutes from downtown Chilagoe. If you’ve made it to Chilagoe don’t miss balancing rock, it is well worth the effort for the unique limestone panoramas to be had along this little walk. The walk itself is on reasonably maintained paths with a little bit of up and down. Try to time your visit with sunset for the best light for those photos.

Only 220 m up moderate climb to see the balancing rock. Well formed loop track. Viewing platform at the top.

Located right beside donnas cave, this impressive rock balancing is worth the short walk. Walking conditions means anyone could make the small hike up and back. Worth the day trip out from cairns

Well worth the short hike from the car park. The trail does a loop around the rock, so it can be viewed from different angles.
Wear joggers if possible 👟

Great little walk to the rock and back. Wonderfully maintained by the park rangers. Keep an eye out for butterflies near the rock art!

There is a Carpentaria cave complex here, however I can't reveal it's location, it's a secret.

My first time in the outback brought me to this place and I loved to have a walk here. Lots of ants on the footpath tho and they kept biting me (not the fault of the place of course, just a welcome message from mother nature).
