Spotlight Carnegie

Excellent store for all my crafting. Just bought some more wool in this fabulous colour at a great price and also got a voucher for my next purchase. Parking was also easy.

We had a wonderful shopping experience at Spotlight Carnegie. The store has wide variety of art, craft and home decor items. Most of the items have discount offers and others are competitively priced. Store staff seemed friendly and professional. We bought an Elna sewing machine and we got a great deal on that. Theodora, who was kind of an expert in sewing machines, was very helpful in explaining different machines and their features. She made our shopping experience even better.
Unlike other stores, Spotlight was well equipped with staff availability. Signage was good and the design of store made it easy to find items while meandering around.
Parking at the shopping centre was available despite weekend. Toilets are located at the top floor which might be an issue for some as the access appeared to be through stairs only.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, store is jam packed with lots of stuff so can be a little tricky to find what you're after, but just ask away and they'll point you right to it!

A dressmaker’s and hobbyist’s paradise that’s all the more enticing at Sale time.

Some homewares are a tad expensive for my liking (hello KMart) but the range of stuff for home is abundant.

Sheets and bedding, cushions and towels. Kitchenware, outdoor entertaining, hobbies, blinds and curtains. Enormous range of fabric by the metre for oodles of purposes from curtains to dressmaking and costumes to patch work and quilting and DIY upholstery.

Great help and recommendations from experienced staff member at the curtains and blinds station. Super helpful. Thank you.

A big THANK YOU to Simone whom helped us out on the weekend with our Blinds/Curtain purchase. Simone was not only friendly, and went out of her way to help, but was also incredibly knowledgeable about the products. In a world where customer service is key, Simone really is a keeper!

Very disappointing…staff are good and helpful…..BUT the store itself is a mess. Wrong prices on items….so you are charged more at the checkout. Stock all over the place and in the incorrect place. A real mess and not a pleasure to shop. Where is the Management team! They were short staffed….lunchtime and had one nice salesperson on with a queue of customers.

Good art craft supplier. Always kind and well managed. Sometimes short of stocks which means how popular is this store. Very convenient

Love the bargains and sales. Sells lots of different things. Not really expensive and good quality.
Love walking around store and picking up a bargain. Such a lot of doona covers and sheets to choose from
Also cushions and towels. They also blow up balloons for many special occasions.
If you are into sewing great place to go.

A top-notch customer service! I didn't have a member card with me today. the staff tried to find my account with my mobile number and my last name spending about two minutes for me. Just purchasing $9.50 tea towel with no membership discount anyway so I felt like don't worry about it but she finally managed to find my account. No matter what, I think they will be there for you😊

Great store. Clean. Friendly staff. I don't know why the other review on this site said unfriendly staff as I have been going there since they opened years ago and never a bad experience. The store is always clean and they have great specials. They also allow me to use my grandmother's membership which is great no problems. Today the staff allowed me to take some free items they had for their customers. As I am hosting my nieces' birthday party I was able to take a few, which was wonderful. Thanks Spotlight for hiring such lovely staff.

Variety of things are available including plain cloths which can be used to make clothes. One of the best spotlight shops I have ever been.

Good range, mainly just followed my girlfriend around but then found some good paint brands etc for my miniature collecting hobby.
