Anglesea Bakery

Is this the best bakery you will go to? No. But that is not a knock on the Anglesea Bakery. The food here is consistent and you know that what you get will be good. As a tradie who finds smoko an important part of the day, I find myself returning time and time again. A few of the highlights would be the chilli dogs, mexican pies, spinach and ricotta triangles and the jam doughnuts. I also have it on a good recommendation that the yo-yos are delicious.

The best Satay Chicken Pie I have ever had is made here!!! Super friendly and helpful staff, they gave us our pies and banana breads perfectly cut as we were sharing food within family!!!! Must come here if you are onto the Great Ocean Road!!

Super fresh and tasty! Why wait in the line up the road? Recommended Sausage Roll, Ready to eat rolls and fresh bread.

Don't know if they make their own pies, but they certainly taste like it. We had Chicken & Vegetable, and Steak & Mushroom. Both were very tasty, full of real meat & veggies and not too much gravy. Worth going back again next time we pass through town.

So many different varieties of pies, pastries, foccacia's, wraps & rolls. Have visited a few times & tried different pies, tasty & chunky, hard to choose just one.

I travel to Lorne each September and always call in to this bakery. The y have great hot food and cakes so delicious you won't know what to choose. I end up with a few cakes as I can't make a decision. Definitely worth stopping.

Jelly Slice - Amazing!

Haven’t tried anything else from here but the Jelly Slice. I’m a harsh judge but this is the best Jelly Slice I’ve ever had... and ai’ve been to a lot of country bakeries in my time. 😉👍

Great home made veggie pasty and delicious cinnamon donuts

fresh tasty sandwiches and rolls both wholemeal and white. nice donuts and cakes. variety of hot fresh pies. popular with locals too.
