McConnell Lookout

This is a fantastic look out over the North Burnett Shire with all Citrus orchards in view ,road is steep but low gear not a problem not suitable for Caravans ,sealed road to top ,there toilets at top and a Electric BBQ and shaded Shelter. Well worth the trip.

Views very scenic, good view of The Burnett River.

So long as your legs are strong you could walk or ride your bike up, but by far the easiest way up is by car 🤣 the road in is gravel, but in good condition, the road up to the look out is bitumen. Lovely spot to have a picnic and be blown away by the views

Absolutely gorgeous panoramic views. Excellent challenging walk from Gayndah Road. Very worthwhile.

The View was amazing at the top but road was in poor condition to get to lookout

Stunning place excellent drive up, take it slow though as it is one lane once you come off the main road. Unsuitable for people towing caravans.

Great place to come and see all over the valley and Gayndah. Toilets here as well as a picnic table and a BBQ. It did have paint on the hotplate when we were here. But qudos to the council for putting one here.

Fantastic view and a nice drive

Glad we made the pleasant drive to this lookout. Some unsealed road, but fairly good condition. Very steep, narrow road to the top, definitely NOT for caravans. Sheltered picnic tables and toilet with baby change table and tank water for hand washing.

Exciting tarred road to the top in the middle of nowhere. Rewarding views. Public toilet needs emptying.
