Tropical Bliss bed and breakfast

A friend and I stayed here for two nights whilst in North Queensland and it was just perfect. We didn’t want to leave! Peter was such a wonderful host and the coffee was to die for. The sounds of the creek and the birds were music to the soul. Highly recommend and would love to stay again. Thank you Peter and Steven for your lovely hospitality

I arrived expecting a beautiful tranquil place to lay my head at the end of each day. But what I found was so much more. Our host Peter was nothing short of amazing and honestly it was a pleasure to wake each morning to his beautiful sense of humor and wonderful scrambled eggs. And this is to say nothing of the many beloved four legged custodians, all full of personality and love. I can't recommend enough 💕.

Magic spot great hosts , if you want to relax with the sound of a stream in your dreams this is the spot, free breakfast in the morning,reminds me of a Bali rain forest would highly recommend

Imagine, if you will, spending a couple of nights in the home of David Sedaris with the same eclectic interior decorating, but before he became marvellously wealthy through book publishing, signings and one night theatre performances. You can add in a bit of architectural curiosity as parts of the building were shipped in by slow boat from a dilapidated chateau in France. Mix that with the most peaceful tropical, creek flowing at your footstep, rainforest setting. If this sounds like your cup of tea then this is for you. It is a bed and breakfast share accommodation with Peter and Steve, your host, so if you are seeking a standardised franchised corporation sterile accommodation then give it a miss. If not then this may well be the place if you (as well as Peter) are seeking to share future dinner table stories of life and Australian adventures. Keeping in mind this is the wettest part of Australia so if you have the luxury of time make a booking in the window of predicted sunshine. We nailed it for two days and it was perfection.

Peter and Steve are amazing hosts, and their house is in a mesmerizing location. The sounds of the little private creek and forest, the amazing breakfast, and their kindness, will make any nature and food lover feel amazing.

Loved every moment. so friendly and the hosts are delightful. Loved the peace and tranquility..and lived the natural swimming pool!. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic spot
You feel as if in a rain forest
All you here is the river running over the rocks and the sounds of all the birds in this little oasis

The owners were very kind and funny the food was amazing

The beautiful rainforest setting and the fllowing creek and swimming hole.
This is a BnB of the traditional sense where guests have a private bedroom but all other areas are shared with hosts and other guests. Peter our host cooked a great brekky and was a good host. There are plans to build ensuites for each guest bedroom and this will greatly improve the property.

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING in the bedrooms and was quite hot and humid. I had a terrible nights sleep.

I think this was poor value. If you are looking for a hotel style accommodation then this won't be for you. Booking .com said it was 177 but they charged $250.

When my fiance and myself were looking for a nice place to stay we thought we had found it Tropical Bliss ............. tropical bliss it was not , yes we were greeted by the owners and they were very friendly and welcoming, but there place was filthy dirty , we had dirty pet hair ridden sheets , spiders and bugs all over the place , we tried to make most of it and purchased a bottle of wine to share under the stars on there little gazebo covered aera showen on there sight , to our disgist the table cloth was dirty and still covered in last night party🤤 .

Also found it weird that our bathroom was auctually a share bathroom with the owners , bit off putting with all there own personal soaps and brushes and towels , as you can tell we didnt get alot of sleep , especially with the bedroom doors not locking or closing properly and there being a key lock hole ( peep hole ) neddles to say we didn't hang round for breaky .
