Kensington Park

Kensington Park is such a wonderful local suburban family area. From the oval to the community centre, to playground for the kids or the community exercise equipment on offer. As well there is always a few young guys around the basketball court willing to have some one on one playtime.

It's a small but lovely park with plenty of trees (2-3 are very large, a shady place to lay down and relax, a playground for kids, a field next to it. Drinking water fountain is between the playground and the basketball field. They finished renovating the east section! There is a small bike rack near the community building.

Often the park surrounding a cricket ground seems extraneous to needs, but not here. The park is well maintained and quite attractive, great viewing of the oval too. A community centre is nice, play area for the children - and a statue of a female (!) cellist adds to the experience.

Kensington park is the resting place of sunlight through the day, i can hear cuckoo and Chirping birds from all distance. I can see it is outdoors Gym equipped. On the south of the park is where Children Can Play. Have a run in the Kensington oval is much.

You have street parking spaces around the park; it’s quiet place with an oval ground and a basketball field. Also there is a children’s park and a community club inside the park. I must say the park is well kept.

Usually go there to read books. Really nice park. Dog friendly, has drinking fountains, basketball court, a nice football ground. Doesn't have a public toilet though. But all an all, its a great park to just chill around.

We organised a birthday party next to the kids playground and it was 👍🏻

Superb park with many options for exercise and socialising. Good outdoor gym equipment (two sets), a half basketball court, children's playground, oval, walking trails. Plenty of street parking. Clean and well kept. Proximate to bus and light rail. Bicycle rack. Wheelchair accesible. Family friendly.

We loved it! Could get busy on a sunny winter day so you might want to drive further for a quieter spot. Great picnic areas. Very green. Lots of space for kids to run around.

Small nice park overall. Playground is gated which is quite safe for children to play.

Great local park, well-equipped for fitness with outdoor gym and basketball half-court. Also has kids playground and space for picnics, as well as function centre and off-street parking.

great place to chill. plenty of shades. grass everywhere. few trees. playground for kids. gym for kids to adult. bring picnic mat with food and you are set till dark.

Lovely clean park. Great playground for younger children that had qr codes to scan in and sanitiser at the gate before you entered the playground
