Club Old Bar Motel

Absolutely 💯 % recommend this motel. Clean, well appointed, they have nailed all the little things associated with a pleasant stay, all staff amazing, location perfect, everything as a great motel should have, did I mention cleanliness, worth the short trip from the highway.

Highly recommend the Club Old Bar Motel. Rooms are generously sized, bathrooms are immaculate; modern, for to ceiling tiles, walk in shower with great pressure. Huge TV, comfortable king sized bed, kitchenette facilities. Huge beach towels for the bathroom is fantastic!! Helpful and friendly staff. Everything was as described or even better. Great proximity to Old Bar, the Club next door and 20 mins from Taree and 30-35 mins from Wingham. Great spot, will stay here again.

Booked this up as I was attending a wedding. We could not fault it. Guy on reception was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were modern, well designed and styled and very clean. The room had a very welcoming appeal. If we are up this way again we would not hesitate to rebook. Also great with the club being next door. This was very clean and the food was fresh, well presented and delicious

This has to be one of the best motels for an overnight stay in the Manning Valley. Rooms are stylish, spacious and modern. Staff are great. Just had my third stay here and I always sleep well with beautifully, comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning.
As a motel guest, you also receive VIP treatment at the club next door. My 10 year old son enjoyed the club’s mini golf after the drive up from Sydney. I enjoyed being able to use the motel’s fitness room facilities.

Great place to stay. Photos were pretty accurate. Looks very new and clean. Would recommend. The back area was very lush and looked after.

This is a really nice motel with modern amenities. The PIN code concept was so good and made it so easy without worrying about locking yourself out if you have left the key in the room. There was a coffee machine which was a really nice touch. The bed was so comfortable and the overall cleanliness was exemplary. Will be back again soon!

Beds were the best I have ever slept in. Absolutely fantastic shower. Rooms were so very clean. Great staff at reception. No restaurant on site but there is a club next door. When you book into this motel, you get club discount for next door to have meals. Parking was very good. If I had to make and complaint, I would pick on bed side lamps can't be moved away without moving the entire unit. We had an adjoining rooms with double doors. Very quiet. Very enjoyable place to stay. It was great. I will always return here when ever I'm up that way. Very delighted with my stay. It was the best.

The Room was modern and absolutely spotless, great facilities, quiet and comfortable. Great shower and huge bath sheet towels. Lots of USB outlets, coffee machine, gym and laundry facilities available . Also provided a discount card for licensed club next door. Off-street parking close to room.
Guy was very accommodating and friendly, our comfort was paramount to him.
What else could I say, there are not negative comments from me and I look forward to staying here again.

Firstly the motel was very clean and tidy and had wonderful modern rooms. I had emailed a few days before booking to see if I could possibly park our caravans.Mel on the front desk emailed me straight back letting me know it wouldn’t be a problem to park our caravans and she was very accommodating. We arrived after check in hours about 6:30pm and Mel had already sent us pin codes for the doors in the afternoon. She was actually still there when we arrived and she came out to greet us! (Even though she had finished for the day) She wanted to make sure we were comfortable with where we were parking our vans and ensure we got into our rooms okay. The customer service from Mel was incredible. We had stayed at a few motels in our travels and didn’t get that level of service anywhere. The food at the club next door was wonderful. We had a rough day of travel and it turned our whole day around when we arrived at this motel. We will be booking it for our annual trip every year now! Thanks to Mel and the rest of the team for having us!

24/10/22 Stayed at Club Old Bar Motel enroute to Sydney from Bris. Our room was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, bed extremely comfortable, roomy shower (& nice and hot). Very modern facility. We met family for dinner at the Old Bar Bowls Club next door and were thrilled to learn our booking gave us a membership discount for dinner and drinks. Will definitely be stopping back in on return and future trips, and highly recommend for weary travellers. So very pleased our family recommended you to us. Thank you Guy & Team!

Beautiful accommodation. So fresh, neat, clean. Nice layout room. Huge shower. Large bed, quality linen. Good sized TV. Coffee machine, loved the coffee, cookies were quality to match the coffee. Staying at this venue will never disappoint. We ate at Club Old Bar, they have award winning lamb shanks. Barramundi is popular as well. Treat yourself, you will love your stay. Beach not far away, if you want to swim in the Pacific ocean. Enjoy!!! We did.

This accommodation rivals any five star accom in a resort town or big city. The rooms are modern, perfectly catered, crisp, clean and spacious. The proximity to Club Old Bar (and you get a discount) means you can relax and have a nice meal every night.

Great hotel! New rooms, great service, great perks at the club, convenient parking. I would highly suggest an EV charger (as we could have greatly benefited). We ended up having to drive into the Taree south service center to charge the car.

Great motel to stay in. It is next to the club so good for meals. It was very clean and nice rooms.

Sorry for the late review. Hubby and I stayed here on 30th March 2022. With hubby being in a wheelchair and myself an amputee we needed a room with a disabled access bathroom. Omg what a surprise we got when we entered our room. It was the perfect bathroom for both of us. This motel knows how to accommodate for the disabled. The staff were so friendly and very helpful, even to the point of supplying softer pillows for myself. Will definitely be staying here if we travel up this way again.
