We had a lovely stay here. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. I loved the Victorian theme, cute and chintzy. The manager was very helpful and the late arrival procedure was seamless and easy. The price was very affordable as well. Highly recommend it

Not a cookie-cutter motel/hotel. Very clean, quiet, thoughtful decor to match the period, lovely balconies and amenities. Staff are friendly and inconspicuously efficient. If you like the trappings of magazine surroundings and anonymity where you can’t even open a window, this isn’t for you. If you want to feel genuinely welcome and relaxed, this hotel has it.

Booked the wrong date through Wotif. Wotif tries to deny the refund twice. Talked with the hotel directly and they approved the refund immediately.

Clean and lovely Victorian rooms, Friendly staff, great location (Walking distance to the station and The concourse for events).

ADORED my stay here! This place is full of such charm and warmth - it's just gorgeous. Stained glass everywhere; beautiful rosettes on the ceilings; classic furniture; comfy bed; cute little patio; and all the facilities you need. am not a fan of the cold clinical places; give me a place with history and character and beauty like this any day. Will defs go back.

I stayed for one night, and got a well-kept room, all the amenities I could want for the price, and a comfortable, quiet, cool sleep. It was within 10m walk of the train station and the nearby eateries/shopping centre.

Only downside was the ceiling fan; even at high speed it was slow.

Our room was located on street level with a beautiful private balcony . Inside it is charming and roomy and the stained glass in it is gorgeous to look at. The bed is very comfortable and the room is super clean. Lots of fresh air and lovely little nooks and crannies for sitting and relaxing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. Its a short walk to trains and buses and delicious eateries.

If you set your expectations right,this place is great. It's mostly for people who are just looking for a bed and all that entails with a partner after dinner in Chatswood. It's good value for money

Very old, quaint and cozy hotel just the kind of heritage listed interior your grandmother's house looked like inside. A small private verandah overlooking the leafy area and the beautiful sound of the early morning birds. Parking at a premium.
Short distance to walk to Chatswood Railway. I'll be back for it's convenience to everything. Great place.

Hidden quite hotel, close to everything! The shops and public transport are just a 5 min walk from the front door. There are lots of places to eat out as well. Entertainment is also just a quick walk away. This is an older style hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side. You will get a nice bed, a nice bathroom and a nice balcony. The TV gets all the local channels, not that you will need it. With access to the trains and buses you will not be stuck in your room with nothing to do! I have stayed hear a few times now, for the price, its amazing to be so close to everything and its very quiet at night!

· It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed and linen. Aircon and heating. Even heated towel rail. Great lighting options. Big fridge, microwave , crockery cutlery and civilised wine glasses. Lounge or garden to meet friends, fully stocked kitchen to use plus laundry. All this with short walk to Chatswood station and amenities. Plus it’s so quiet so great sleep. Friendly staff. Awesome balcony hand fresh air. The photos do not do it justice. We will be back !!!

Clean and old building boutique hotel, very quiet and comfortable, I don't want to leave. The service staff are also very attentive. We only arrived at around 9:00 in the evening. You can pay online and use the password to get the key in the mailbox. It is very safe and convenient. I will definitely come back if I have a chance!

I visit on a semi regular basis just because my partner thinks the rooms are gorgeous. The staff are friendly and efficient too which is a massive bonus.

Beautiful heritage building with renovated room. Loved it. Lovely and quiet too. Will be back for sure! Go for a walk from there to the rail to river walk. Absolutely spectacular bush walk. Wow. Just wow. And then this little fella appeared in the tree across from our room.

This is a beautiful and very convenient place to stay, with lots of attention to details that make for a real sense of being at home away from home. The quality of the room, friendliness at reception, and the old style feel of the whole building make for a very comfortable experience. Slept better here than in most other hotels I've been in around Sydney. There is reliable wifi, very comfy bed, kitchen facilities available and lots of other simple extras that make the stay excellent value for money.

Boutique hotel, rooms are comfortable and the place brings you back to an older time. Ensuite toilet & shower. TV if you need it and little balcony outside with a couple of chairs. Highly recommended if you're looking for something a little less modern

I've stayed here a couple of times and could not fault the place no matter what. It's hidden away from the main road so you're not right in the thick of traffic all the time and it's next to a school with some trees that, depending on which side your room's on, will trick you into thinking you're not in the city if you're not careful.

I've always found the staff to be pleasant and more than willing to go above and beyond to solve problems, for example, my last stay I had booked a room, but the previous tenant wanted to stay longer so I was offered the main suite of the premises at no extra charge and had free breakfasts thrown in for agreeing.

The breakfasts here are really light and good for most people, and if someone wants something a bit beefier for breakfast, the motel is a minute or two (or longer if you're a slow walker like I am) from the Intercourse at Chatswood and all the restaurants there that would be open to serve the morning foot traffic and commuters from the train station.

If I ever have need to return to Sydney, or Chatswood specifically, I will return to this motel if it's available, the level of service and the quality of the rooms I've stayed in have ensured that I will remain a repeat customer.

This is a very interesting place right in the middle of Chatswood. Surrounded by leafy trees and even a local Brush Turkey.
Domino's Pizza only 600 metres away.
We bought pizzas and sat on the balcony to have dinner.

Awesome little place to stay. Clean and very period correct. Even without some ac rooms remain cool. Nice small balcony. Small by size but well equipped. Common kitchen area just no pool. Front desk staff is ok but the house keepers are highly attentive and very proficient at what they do. Nothing but nice interaction with them.

Customer service was superb! I had originally planned to stay following a medical procedure, the hotel was happy to accommodate my need for a ground floor room and late check-in. Unfortunately my circumstances meant that I wasn't able to stay at the hotel. The staff were very understanding about my cancellation and just lovely.
