Amazing Vietnamese food. This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Sydney till now. Really close to my home fortunately. Always try the filter coffee which actually tastes so pure. The staff is very friendly and polite plus the interiors look great! Visited a couple of times and then gave this review!

The service and attitude of staff were excellent. This family run restaurant feels very cosy, and it’s air conditioned to the perfect temperature.

The food is authentic and tastes quite good, we spent around $17 per person for entree, main and drinks.

Cheap and cheery family run restaurant. Food was delicious. One of the best pork chops I've ever had. Banh xeo was also nice.

the Vietnamese pancake is amazing!! my Vietnamese colleagues said their pancake is one of the best in Sydney. the restaurant only opened recently and hasn't got many customers yet. it looks empty and with really simple decorations unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but the food are really authentic and good.

The food here is spectacular. The highlight for me has been the beef pho — meltingly tender beef sirloin and brisket, noodles perfectly al dente, in a comforting broth with great depth of flavour. It has a restaurant feel with friendly and attentive service. Extremely reasonable prices. Fast becoming a neighbourhood favourite.

We decided to try this restaurant after reading the good reviews. It didn't disappoint, service was good and food was delicious. We really enjoyed the Iced Vietnamese Coffee, perfect to finish the meals 👌.

Our third visit! Had grilled pork chop dry egg noodles. Big portion. The pork chop was char- grilled and juicy. Love it. Friendly and hospitable staff. Will surely come again.

Lovely service and food too - great prices .. they have multiple vegetarian options but after a taste of my boyfriend’s pho I really wanted and asked for beef broth with no meat, just onions and greens. They were very gracious about this (it wasn’t on their menu). I will definitely be back 🙏

The Vietnamese Pancake and the Black pepper beef with egg noodles were very generous portion size dishes, very good and well priced. The coconut fresh water was amazing with real pieces of coconut! The staff was very friendly as well. Highly recommended.

Fresh ingredients, quick service and the entrees came in the first ten minutes. The food was very good, I recommend the crispy chicken and noodle soup. This place could easily become a regular to add to your list.

We have lived in Marrickville for 10 years. There must be over 20 Vietnamese restaurants in Marrickville and we have tried them all. Paddy Field out does them all by far. The quality of the food is superb and authentic, every single thing we have ordered has been delicious. They have an extensive vegetarian menu as well, perfect for us as vegetarians you spoilt for choice which is rare in most restaurants. We are so lucky to live on the same block. Family run business, the owners and staff are oh so friendly. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I love Paddy Field House because I feel like I am enjoying authentic Southern style wholesome Vietnamese cuisine served in a very homely manner. With two generations of mums in the kitchen, you know you will receive nourishment that nurtures the soul. I especially love the beef stew, it is my go to especially in winter, but you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Thank you for your kindest service with a smile, every time!

Paddy Field catered for my son's birthday party and did an amazing job. Leanne was very professional and promptly replied to my enquiries. She patiently helped create a menu suitable for my guests.

The food was fresh, colorful, healthy and flavoursome. My guests walked away asking for the catering details. We ordered several dishes, all exceeded expectations. The chicken wings were super crispy, spring rolls were a good size and crunchy, noodles and fried rice such a good dish to accompany all other items as they weren't too overpowering, prawn summer rolls and the vegan rolls received great reviews. My favourite was the generously sized nem nuong! Fruit platter was freshly cut and a good selection, and last but not least, Leanne made a complimentary Vietnamese dessert che which was such a delight. Just the right amount of sweetness, rice and beans were soft and was delicious with her own coconut cream concoction.

Overall, I was so impressed with the attention to detail of every dish, it seemed like good care, hygiene and skill was taken to make each meal not only look appealing but also very tasty.

Will definitely be calling Leanne again soon for the next function. Thank you xx

Paddy Field has won my heart and stomach! I've been here a few times. They're super friendly, especially Leanne, the owner. She was super helpful and lovely with organising some catering, and such a generous veg + gf friendly menu.

Unfortunately, no photos. This only happens when the food is so good, we fall on top of it and gorge ourselves, before we remember to take a photo. 🤣 I highly recommend the summer rolls. Probably the best in Marrickville.

Yummy food. Friendly service. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Love the jazzy tunes. Authentic Vietnamese run by a family with clean, stylish and not-too-pretentious decor.
