Easy to find location. Very well stocked post office. Staff are very friendly and attentive, lines move fast when they’re busy. Have a huge back of house and are able to hang onto parcels for you easily enough.

I had to come 3 times in the same day to be told at the end that my parcel “awaiting for collection”, already delayed, is still on the way. Not reflecting particularly the Esperance post office, the last lady was lovely, and I was very frustrated. But AusPost is the worst service I ever know.

I rang looking for a parcel, I was told it wasn’t there despite the tracking saying it was. After convincing the woman it was there she told me how busy she was and that she would look for it and call me back. I waited 5 days she never called back. I rang again. I spoke to another woman, I explained the unique situation, she told me to call Ausposf, I explained I already had they told me to ring them direct. She then very rudely told me she wouldn’t help me. They both chose to be rude and difficult. I have used many Aus post outlets over the years for the same request and never have i had a problem. Very disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This doesn't necessarily reflect on the Esperance location specifically, but how I have been treated by AusPost as a whole. DO NOT use AusPost for shipping ANYTHING internationally!
I moved back to the USA in April of 2021 from Esperance. Before moving back, I packaged all of my belongings and mailed them to the my partner's address in Washington USA (where I was moving to). I sent 5 20kg boxes (costing me roughly $1000). Upon arrival in the US, 3 of the boxes were SIGNIFICANTLY water damaged with interior contents ruined, musty, and with literal mold growing on many of the items. I filed a complaint with AusPost about this (as there were notes on and inside the packages stating that the packages arrived in the US in this condition) and requested a refund of shipping for the damaged packages. They told me to bring the packages back to the United States Postal Service (USPS) to file an official damage report. I did this for 2 of the boxes (for one box, I had already disposed of ruined items, cleaned and salvaged what I could so I could not present it to the USPS for inspection). At the USPS they filed the report and needed to hold onto the packages until the investigation was completed - this was a month ago. Since then AusPost has been running me around in circles. I have been talking via e-mail and I have been told 3 TIMES to have my parcels inspected by USPS which I have already done. At one point a response told me to contact the sender directly as AusPost could no longer help me (without giving any explanation) and when I reiterated that I AM the sender they told me to send pictures of the damaged items (which was already included in the report and were still at the USPS). When I asked for clarification, I again was told I should bring the packaged to the post office for inspection. I am incredibly frustrated as this has been going on for over a month. It is clear AusPost thinks they can just shrug off my complaints because I am in a different country, I cannot come complain directly, and they already have my money. Every time I am contacted it is a completely different AusPost representative and it is clear whoever it is has not bothered to read past discourse and understand what is happening. This is completely unprofessional and ridiculous. DO NOT USE AUSPOST FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
