Absolutely magnificent landscape. Don't be fooled by the poor reviews that fail to understand Pink Lake is the name of the lake, not a guaranteed description of water colour. Human activity including railway construction and salt harvesting have impacted the lake, changing conditions that the salt-tolerant algae responsible for the pink water require.

Out of this world! Very pink lake, amazing. Not much life in the lake due to its salinity. Definitely worth stopping over for this view.

Pink Lake (previously known as Lake Spencer) is a salt lake in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. It lies about 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Esperance and is bounded to the east by the South Coast Highway.

One of the largest lakes in the world, I traveled to it, and it was one of the most beautiful lakes ❤❤
