Yum... If you like laksa and generous serving this is the place to try. The place is snuck in and hidden inside the Kauri pub. Tried the beef rendang, also very nice. Mix entree is a meal on its own.... Great combo to share....

Definitely one of the best laksa in the local area. Not too spicy and has depth of flavour in the laksa broth. We ordered a takeaway chicken tofu laksa and Char Kway Tiao. Simple yet flavoursome! Came across this hidden spot (located behind a pub, in an alley) as we were walking around the fish market to glebe foreshore.
Open everyday from 12midday until 9pm at night. Affordable eatery good for take-away or order eat in and grab a table in pub next door and a drink to wash it down. Friendly owner too!!

First time trying grandma's at the new location ..food is authentic and very well priced .I'm a big fan of the home made chillies sauce .we had the Chinese BBQ and Hainan chicken .both 10 out of 10 will be back for sure to try the Laksa

Stunning, home cooked Malaysian food. Very reasonable price, cooked with love and heart, the best Laksa I have had. The Beef Rendang is my personal favourite, so so good. You have to go and try Richard’s amazing food 👌 ✅ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Absolutely delicious food! The perfect pairing with a cold beer and some mates at the local Kauri Hotel next door.

This is an absolute little gem in Glebe. Hands down the best Malaysian I’ve had. The portions are huge, prices are low and the food is good! Richard, the chef, is so lovely and happy to accommodate any dietary requests.
Try the Fried rice! He gives you double what you’d get anywhere else 🤤
I come here often when I feel like a feast without spending a fortune 😁

Entrees we tried spring rolls, samosa, curry puffs (To Die For), chix satay (TDF), fish cakes. We think he make most of these entrees himself, definitely the curry puffs! They are packed with ingredients, worth those pennies! Satay so good! Laksa, custom made Char Kway Tiao, nasi goreng. Authentic Malaysian flavour. Uncle too nice!

Only just discovered Grandma's Laksa House and so glad I did! Just finished a lovely combination laksa and my daughter is eating her yummy nasi goreng. Highly recommended! The Laksa uncle is very friendly too. Will be going again soon.

Popped into this little hole in the wall at the local pub on a whim, greeted by the friendly chef. The chicken laksa was great, absolutely authentic and don’t start me on the curry puffs - four of the most generous, fist-sized puffs of goodness you’ll ever stumble upon. The laksa and the curry puffs came to a total of $18, absolutely well-priced. If you’re after a casual, unpretentious laksa in Glebe, this is the place.

Perfect, brilliant, amazing. Super nice guy. Food is amazing. A little warning that the laksa is spicy if you’re weak like me.

The chef is a fantastic cook, his always smiling. He cooks a great laksa, best laksa in Sydney. And the serving sizes are enormous! I highly recommend going.

75 years of tradition and flavour. Grandma certainly knows her way around a rich broth. Shiver me timbers, this laksa is bloody delicious! The perfect accompaniment to a cold Reschs 🤤
