This is the cheapest place for coffee on the Martin Place / Parliament district. Friendly staff. Fast and efficient service too. Good atmosphere. Located in the grounds of the Sydney Hospital - you’ll go past it if you walk from Macquarie Street to The Domain. Outdoor seating here. A wonderful spot to visit for a coffee break.

Satellite of the Jardin St James (which you'll find) beneath and a bit above that early consecration. The remnants of the old Cafe de capo site still visible, complete with DYMO embossed font. (One of those guns from the 80's used to label EVERYTHING.) - an historical marker and a nice touch while it remains. In the middle of a hospital but still a very much needed brew, even if it isn't Italian! Coffee is good and the service enthusiastic. Disappointed not open on the weekend, which pretty much eliminates my hope for the jazz on a Sundays, where I once requested The Dan and the muso actually played it! Babylon sisters, shake it! Plants on the verandah a nice touch - petit jardin, en effet !

Coffee great, lovely service with a smile but adding a $1 fee for soy milk is too steep! I'm buying elsewhere; the cost of soy 1 ltr from a catering supplier doesn't justify a $1 mark-up!

This place over charges for its coffee $4. The coffee lid is bigger than the actual cup. It's made in little trailer. Overpriced and arrogant customer service.

Chicken and cheese Baguette was awful. No sauce, no butter, no oil, just dry. They offered to add butter . Give the baguettes a miss. Coffee ok.
