Really friendly and helpful hosts! They went out of the way for me and were extremely kind and helpful. The room was perfect, just what I needed, with a door opening up to a courtyard with Rosellas, so that was an added bonus. The location was great, 5 min walk to town. Couldn't argue with the price either.

Last minute booking with my partner as we got stuck in too much traffic to travel back home and it was superb! Nice and cozy, very clean and warm. Only downfall was the driveway we had to enter on an angle to not scratch the car and exit the entry driveway! Also as we had come at night the sign was not visible to enter apart from that Staff and owner were very helpful and accommodating to everything we needed. We will definitely be back…..

Absolutely amazing, me and my partner had the spa suite for the weekend and Archie could not of been more helpful. The room was amazing for a romantic weekend away and was so peaceful. Felt like paradise. The spa bath was amazing. Up the road is some nice cafes and a good pub for a feed. On arrival Archie gave us some fresh milk for a coffee and gave us more coffee. We will be definitely staying again.

What an unexpected GEM! Paddy and the team could not have been more helpful - I was arriving very late on the train from Sydney - no problem, and would I like some fresh milk left in the fridge? ooh yes please! (Blackheath Station is only about 5 minutes walk from the Inn)

The room had a lovely vibe with its solid mountain wood style, and the bed was comfortable with an electric blanket so I was cosy and warm. The room was spacious and had everything I could need - kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, tea/coffee, table and chairs, sofa, extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe, and all spotlessly clean. Shower worked well with plenty of hot water, and lovely clean, white, fluffy towels and robes too.
Sadly I had to leave early in the morning to catch the next train, so I didn't have time to make use of the pretty outdoor space and table and chairs!
But I will return next time with less rush, to stay for a little longer. Thank you Paddy - everything was great!

An excellent place to stay. I rented a room for a day before and after my mountain trip. The location is not the closest to the mountain, but it's nearest to the train station, making it ideal for backpackers like me who don't drive. The first day I stayed in Room 8, a standard room, which was very quiet (not close to the road) and had a glass door leading to a small courtyard. The second time, I stayed in their largest room, Room 20, specifically to use its bathtub. The room has its own garden, and the kitchen window offers a direct view of this garden. It also has a skylight, a sofa, a small dining table, and a separate toilet. The room is very quiet. They provide you with small cookies and tea bags. Amenities include a microwave, complimentary toiletries, utensils, an electric kettle, hand soap, and a hairdryer. There's also a bathrobe. The bed is large, and the ceiling is adorable. It's a great place to relax before and after mountain climbing. Next door is a library and a public, beautifully maintained small garden suitable for picnics. There are trash bins and drinking water at the entrance of the small park. There's also a gas station nearby and a small but well-stocked supermarket. I picked up milk twice from the front desk and also borrowed a cooler. Thank you!

Been here for over 3 months very spacious rooms. Spotless clean very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend staying here good value for money.

We had another wonderful stay at this motel, handy location to local Hotels, boutique shops, restaurants and service station. The owners were friendly and helpful and keep the grounds and rooms lovely and clean and tidy. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family ready to explore the Blue Mountains

We had the deluxe room which was really clean especially the bathroom, and access to outside garden with tables and chairs, where we had a nice breakfast. Staff were very friendly, with constant cleaning of rooms . Loved it and can't wait to go back. Very exhilarating

Great little Motel. Had a 1 night stay while attending a wedding. Staff were friendly and helpful and let us park up several hours before check in so we could avoid some heavy traffic that was in effecting the entire area. Deluxe room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Loved that each room had a nice outside area with table and chairs.

My partner and I a few weeks ago in June stayed in the spa room and the service from Padi and Archie was incredible. We could always get in contact with them and if there were anything we needed help with they were very good at coming up with a solution that helped us out.

Padi and Archie were always welcoming and friendly and we could not recommend Blackheath Motor Inn enough.

Our spa room was extremely cosy and romantic. We couldn't any outside noise and we felt like we were in complete serenity. The room was definitely big enough without being over the top. Definitely recommend for couples (the spa room).

The location is excellent as food and shops are within walking distance and would definitely recommend taking a stroll through the streets of Blackheath. If you would like to travel to Katoomba or even near Mt Victoria for some walks, it is a very short drive.

If you are thinking of your next place to stay in the Blue Mountains and you don't want to be over crowded in Katoomba then give Padi and and Archie at Blackheath a call :)

Partner and I had a great stay. Garry and Jane were very lovely and personable. The room is a bit dated but nice, clean and has everything you'd need. The fresh milk on arrival is a nice touch!

My daughter and I had a lovely 2 nights away in this cute, warn and welcoming motel. Loved the electric blankets and robes as an extra touch. The hosts were very friendly. Will definitely come back!

Great room, very affordable and a fantastic location to explore the Blue Mountains. Off street parking, walking distance of local cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend and will stay here if I visit the area again!

I have been in that motel twice . It is a great motel , very nice service , cozy and clean and very close to the station . The managers of the motel are very helpful . They helped me to scan and email a document to overseas . It is a lovely place to stay in Blue Mountains .

Very friendly Motor Inn - thanks Jane and Gary. Had a great stay. The electric blankets & air con kept us warm. We were over the moon since there was snow-fall on 10/8/19. The room was clean. Received some fresh milk on arrival. Also was given some great tips on the Canyon walk.

Our stay was great: the room was big, comfortable and it had everything we needed. Our rooms had a small backyard with a table and a pair of chairs. Also, they gave us lots of useful information. A good option if you have to stay in Blackheath or if you are visiting the Blue Mountains!

I stayed at the Blackheath Motor in during a really stressful week when I had lost my dog in remote bush land and needed somewhere to sleep while I was looking for her. Garry and Jane were so lovely and thoughtful and caring during this time, and the hotel was a warm, clean and cosy place to come back to each night. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the Blackheath area.

Really spacious rooms at affordable prices, right down the road from all the good restaurants in town. Has everything you need, but you should know that you can hear the trains and trucks going past at night. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but might sway some people's decision.

The rooms aren't particularly new, but they are very well maintained; furnished, and supplied. They provide robes; extra blankets; tea and coffee; milk, and plenty of advice on how best to spend your time in the Blue Mountains.

The location was great, as we could just stroll 5 minutes down the road to get to a large number of restaurants for dinner. I highly recommend the Kebab House - it has a simple name, but their Pide and Gozleme are the best I've had in years.

As I mentioned, you will be able to hear the train and trucks as they go past at night, but I found this to be soothing and relaxing, and it helped me get to sleep at night. The noise isn't intrusive, but you might have issues if you're a light sleeper or easily irritated by noise.
