Bayswater Kitchenette

A cozy restaurant with a lot of soul and friendly staff. I really enjoyed my night there and i would recommend booking since it’s a small place.

I had the lamb ragu pasta, very nice and comforting. My friends got the pescatore and carbonara (a bit too oily).
The lamb cutlets are to die for! And the radicchio salad was delicious.
The wine list is also good.

Absolutely loved this little gem of a restaurant. It’s tiny, and that’s all part of its charm. It’s cozy, got a great atmosphere, and the kitchen is right in front of you with nothing to hide. We sat at the counter, which I loved because you could watch them prepare your feed right in front of you.

The food is delicious (highlights were the calamari, beef ragu and the banoffee pie 😍). Fast service, reasonable prices and friendliest staff ever. We will definitely be back!

Every now and then you come across a place that is worth telling friends about... This is one of those places. Service is welcoming and makes you feel as if you are going to a mates place that is a really good host and an amazing chef. They have hands down Australia’s best lasagna. Go spoil yourself or someone you love by visiting Bayswater Kitchenette!

A neighborhood gem! Food was very tasty and not salty. Pastas were perfectly cooked al dente. Baked fish of the day was delicious. Banofee pie provided the perfect ending.

My fav restaurant in Sydney! Alessia is an amazing chef, the atmosphere is so cosy, is like eating at my grandma's house while being in a wonderful Sydney spot! Thanks Alessia and Glenda for creating such an amazing place 😍

Fantastic neighborhood spot, we had a great meal here. Great cocktails and wine and friendly service. Just the bread and olive oil was great, but the burrata, anchovy, almond and cavalo nero starter was lovely, and our pasta mains were wonderful.

I discovered this neighborhood kitchen on my first night in Sydney. Food is delicious and made with love. Glenda and Alessia felt like friends immediately. I am so jealous of this neighborhood that gets to enjoy this spot!

Tiny resto that we happened to walk by. Could see the plates of food people were eating and it piqued our interest. Really delicious, well made and with great service, warm and personal without being overbearing. I'm just visiting Sydney, which is just as well because if this was in my neighborhood it could develop into a habit.

Thanks to a very dear friend who lives nearby, we were taken to this gem of a restaurant wonderful place to experience friendly service, coupled with some very special food. We will certainly be back!

What a wonderful find this lovely little restaurant was. I googled "Italian close to me in Darlinghurst " and Bayswater popped up with a 4.9 rating. Only thing that puzzles me is why it isn't a solid 5. The food is great and only surpassed by the warm and wonderful service from the 2 ladies who own the place. Only 22 seats so make reservations. You won't be disappointed. We only have a week in Sydney and have already made reservations to go back before we head home to Canada
