Good wholesome food, fresh (most of the other cafe's i have been to around Central / Townhall / Martin Place areas serving thali don't really serve fresh - yes i can tell the difference), full of flavours, tasty, good variety (i love thali which gives you good variety) and very reasonably priced. At last but not the least i would say top notch customer service. The owner / staff care for their customers which also adds up to the reason of me and my friends going back.

Highly recommended for someone who is alright with or likes spicy food !
I have attached a photo of what a typical non-veg thali looks like (they have good vegeterian options too) - Note: The photo doesn't include the fresh roti which they serve fresh 1-2 minutes after you get the food.

Awesome, authentic food and super friendly owner. High turnover of food so everything is very fresh. Order the fish curry and roti canai!!! Sangat sedap!!!

Always friendly and family orientated staff. The Manager Raja's will bend over backwards for his customers. The great thing about this gentleman is he remembers who you are even if you haven't seen him for months. The food is tasty and brings back memories of home cooked meals. There is love in the food that is served to you and That's what keeps drawing me back every week. Highly recommended to anyone who ask me.

Awesome little place. The owner was so kind and generous- we came for breakfast since we had a craving for roti, and even though they weren't serving curries yet they cooked some up, just for us!

The food reminds me of something we would eat back home in Malaysia. It exudes love and homey feeling in every bite. Loved it! The owner is extremely friendly and he actually opened the shop just to serve us as we went after working hours. Definitely worth visiting :)

We tried the Nasi Briyani Ayam. It was a complete experience. With the appropriate sambal to complete the Malaysian style food experience. The owner is super friendly. You are going to walk out feeling like a family member. Will be going back there many more times.

The food here reminds me of home, and the owner there is incredibly friendly. The prices are very good considering the choices of curries you can choose from.

You can tell when food is cooked with love, and this place definitely does it. The food is fresh as there wasnt much leftovers from lunch service (we went around 130 and it was already sold out for several dishes), so they prepare fresh dishes everyday.

Tried the nutella milkshake as well, and it was very thick and you could taste the nutella hazelnut flavour. Delicious!

Delicious authentic home-made Malaysian Indian food in a cosy family-run space with warm and friendly service. The Roti Murtabak is not only the best in town; it's the only real-deal one I've found in Sydney! A precious hidden gem.

Raja is a gem of a person, absolutely love his hospitality and care for specific needs. Love and enjoy visiting this place, very good deals on the meals. They even have COVID specials making their deals even better! Try their butter chicken, its to die for!

When I first went in Raja the owner greeted me, nice guy, offered me good combo on the menu. Food was delicious, especially the biryani. Definitely going to be my go to place when I'm in Sydney!

I used to frequent this eatery frequently when I lived in the city . The food is cheap and good quantiy south Indian Malaysian flavour. Very much like home cooked type of meal. Good place to eat.

Ive been here twice this week, I love it. They give generous portions for the price you pay and food is quality, really really good! I prefer this over some chinese take away that's overly salty. I'm glad I tried this place and I'll keep coming back!

Hidden gem in Sydney for a local Malaysian eating culture experience. Ordered the roti set with two curries, chicken and fish for 10$. Roti is not as good as Mamak. But it didn't matter once you've tastes the curry. The fish curry was cooked to perfection, even better than those in Malaysia! It's even served on metal plates, brings me back home. Be quick, curry runs out after 1 pm.
