Food was bloody good.
The Schnitzel was huge and perfectly cooked. Fish and chips was perfectly cooked also. Yum will be a regular spot now.

This place is amazing, eaten here twice now on high recommendations and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, excellent service and a very nice location. Truely hard to fault!

Amazing food, fantastic friendly service every time we go. Always book a table this place is so good they fill up fast! Best food! Hands down our favourite place for dinner. Meals are always so big we always take food home with us. We have never ever had a bad meal here the chefs must be the best around! It’s also the above and beyond service we love from these guys they clearly love what they do and are excellent at making you feel welcome and at home. Well worth the visit!!!

Good meals served hot and in a timely manner. Schnitty was fantastic as expected from so many other reviews. Toilets were clean modern and not smelly. Definitely Would return for another meal off their great menu. Keep up the great work and people will return and come from afar👍😊

Schnitzels are to die for!! Had a little bit of a wait for food but was communicated with us on arrival and we were happy to wait having visited before.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Can't wait to see how the hotels going to look once the renovations are completed! 10/10

Took our son for his 18th birthday dinner yesterday & he wanted a snitty from the Maccy. Ordered his first beer 🍺 from the bar. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was fantastic & the food was absolutely delicious 🤤 wonderful service, thanks so much 🙏 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great pub, well known for it's schnitzels. No rooms to stay in. Everything is top notch.

Had a catch-up dinner with friends on 26/11/23 and chose the Maccie. The food was wonderful, good wine selection, great service, and the country/rustic revamp is just fantastic.
Highly recommend.

It was a ridiculously busy day today at the maccy, hard to get a park on the street…
Before we ordered the lovely lady behind the bar let us know about the wait times (the new dining room was completely full so was expected) we had no issues with waiting.
Enjoyed the sunshine ☀ and relaxed while we waited.
Our kids meals came out in perfect timing to stop them being “too hungry” or just becoming a bit feral….
Places that appreciate kids meals and the timing of them is a 100/10 in my books.

Meals were incredible as always.
The maccy was hidden gem now the secret is out….
Can’t wait for the gardens to be finished!

We shared a starter of camembert cheese & chili jam then had fantastic lunch of Bangers and Mash. Then I couldn't resist the apple crumble for dessert ... all enjoyed with lovely glass of wine in very relaxing atmosphere.

Have not been to the Maccy for over 25years now live nearby went on snitty night omg (sorry no pics) with a friend meals were outstanding cheaper price for huge snitty can get half beautifully cooked with a fantastic range of toppings available. Do yourself a favour get there earlier and enjoy!

Very friendly staff. My friends ordered the steak and they said it melted in their mouths. I had the grilled fish it was absolutely delicious. Im looking firward to my next visit

Great hotel with a local country vibe. Good service and food was amazing in quality, size and choice. Food was nice and hot considering it was about 5 degrees outside. Well catered for with heaters and blankets if needed. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Macclesfield is one of my most favourite locations for a schnitzel here in SA... and whilst it's a bit of a drive to visit, the roads are amazing and the town extremely beautiful. Highly recommend

We had $12 lunch. BLT and sausage and mash. Really good, couldn't finish. Good service

A large group family birthday. Fast and friendly service, Kids menu is varied, lots on offer, so no fussy kid left unhappy.

I went here with my carer today and the food was delicious I had bangers and mash it was delicious great service and friendly staff I would love to come here again one day
