Ceci Strathfield

Ceci is always one of the best Korean restaurants in Strathfield that I always go to. I went several times with my family, friends and tried many of their dishes. Their kimchi is so good. I have tried a lot of Korean restaurants and some of them kimchi is not great enough. I love the kimchi in Ceci.
I love the way you eat in Korean restaurants, you always have free side dishes and in Ceci, all of them are so tasty. We always finish the side dishes before the mains.
Then the staff they were very nice to us as well.
This time we tried beef omurice, kimchi and tofu hot soup. Actually I look forward to a runny omelette in omurice dish but I haven't seen anywhere got it yet. In Ceci the omurice is actually just fried omelette and stir fry beef rice stuffed inside.
Anyway, this is a good restaurant.

Went here the other night as usual when I crave for Korean food. Normally don't do the BBQ but do the cooked dishes instead cause they are REALLY good.

We got seafood pancake, chilli chicken with cheese, kimchi fried rice, takoyaki and jjajanmyeong (photos provided).

Staff were prompt and friendly. Food came out at a good time, especially since the place was fairly busy. Food itself was delicious. They are always playing k-pop so if you wanna sing along (like we did) you totally can.

Party of 4 you could get away with $30pp if you don't order alcohol and be very full, and these days that's a damn good price.

Ceci has been a staple of my nights out for a good reason, you get good quality food for a good price and can enjoy yourself with friends. The owner is also really friendly and accommodating, highly recommend this place.

Have been coming to this restaurant for over 12 years and absolutely love this place, The owner and his wife are very friendly and welcoming staff are awesome. The food is great here, However the portion sizes have changed and prices increased. LA ribs, Japchae and the pancakes are a must try!

I have lived in Korea for 16+ years and know Korean food very well. Every year that I visit Sydney, I make a trip to Ceci to have lunch. The owners are lovely, the food is authentic and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable too. Worth a visit!

Greatt food. We saw 3.3 start and hesitate to go in but they we were so hungry so we just thought let's try. Was probably one of the best korean good I am eaten. Would recommend 👌

Good services and friendly and attentive staffs, various side dishes. Food served quickly here unlike other bbq I ve visited in strathfield, generous portions. I had good time with my family here. Highly recommend restaurant.

I came here this afternoon. The package set for bbq is very cheap. As you can see in the photo it includes 2 bowls of rice is only $45. It is already big portion for me with wagyu beef, marinated beef, thinly slice pork belly and spicy chicken. Then i also order jajangmyeon. The taste was excellent. The service was so great. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. They even sometime helped us to cook the meat and cut it. The service and food taste was 5stars. I will come back again for this good taste and affordable price food.. thank you and keep the best service.

Great food, great service. Relaxed vibes. The wagyu was on point. Seemed like only one cook at the time I went but worth the wait ;)

kimchi soft tofu soup gave me that nostalgia feelz!

Bbq was so good that i order it thrice…kimchi was hand licking good.Overall every food i ordered was good(corn cheese, stir fired pork , stir fried chicken, boneless chicken). The flavours were giving me a different taste .Wanna go there with my galfriend to make her enjoy the delicacy.

The hotpot portions are huge, side dishes are tasty and rice is fluffy. The kimchi pancake is one of the best I've tasted and I order this almost everytime I eat Korean. Because the place has a back seating area there is usually not too much of a wait to get a table. Price is also very reasonable with everything you see in the photo totalling only 40 dollars. Pretty reasonable and we both are extremely full!

I’ve been shopping around for many many many month Korean BBQ restaurants, by far this one is the best!!! Hospitality unmatched!!! Foood unmatched!!! Vibe unmatched!!! Definitely worth every minute every cent if I had more room in my stomach I would get more !!!

Taste: I love your Cold Noodle! I am a cold noodle lover, but it’s really hard to find a cold noodle with a good taste in SYD. From soup to the noodle, I would say it is the top 3 Cold noodle in Sydney.

For bbq, I like pork cheek, beef skirt, beef ribs, beef blame, and ox tongue. Really nice.

Price: good price with the provided service.

Service: although the waiter is not good at oral English, he has lots of patience and was very friendly and supportive. When he not sure the words I said, he double checked with me to ensure he understand what exactly I need. Also, he stay around and come to us immediately when we need sth.

Environment: large and clean.

Suggestion:
- it would be great if you could provide the special leaves(Perilla frutescens) for BBQ.
- corn cheese could be improved because some of the corn were cold and had no flavor. If you could put some pepper&salt to add flavor and heat it bit longer before serve, it would be great. :)

Thanks for providing us a good meal, we will definitely try the other dishes next time. Please keep the food quality and I hope you could be a century restaurant. :)

I have been here since 2015. The food here is wonderful and delicious. Great place to hang out with friends or family. Best Korean restaurant I have visited so far. Welcoming staff, great food and affordable price. Amazing.

My fav. Korean bbq, been clming here for years! There so generous with there sides and the boss is the best always making sure we are happy,

I ordered spicy stir fry chicken and kimchi soft tofu soup and it's really nice, I also loved the side dish. Definitely will comeback again next time
