Won Jo Korean BBQ Strathfield

I always enjoy the food at Wonjo. I don't usually eat BBQ here, I ate the other main dishes and really like their seafood pancake, side dishes. Today I was so much in love with their grilled eel and raw beef tartare. I haven't got any issues with their food or their service, so 5/5. Safe choice to choose Wonjo if you want to eat Korean food in Strathfield.

This place is always busy even in a weekday. We waited roughly 15 mins and was second on the wait list sheet. Even at 9PM there were people still coming in.
So definitely book ahead or get in early.

The side dishes provided were complimentary and delicious. They were refilled by the waitress. The cheese corn was a good entree, definitely delicious to add with rice.

The fried chicken portion was massive! It was seasoned and flavoured well!

We got the premium set which was definitely premium! It was a little on the expensive side considering you could get the same thing for much less elsewhere.

Overall it was a good experience! There is also a serving robot which was cool

We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming Korean BBQ on Strathfield. Whilst the Waygu beef plate was pricey the portion was large and the beef was very marbled and well worth the price. The friend chicken pieces and unlimited Banchan were also a highlight. We will definitely visit again! Highly recommended!

Came in for lunch, it was very busy but the service is quick and the food came out quickly. All the side dishes are delicious & the Kim chi is delicious. We ordered the bulgogi, pork &Kim chi stew and potato noodles. All the dishes were great. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely come back. Next time we'll try the fried chicken because they looked good. The seating was good, we had a table for 4 & there was plenty of room.

Let me say the bbq waygu was absolutely delightfully delicious. The service was friendly and super fast and as for the ambiance well that was splendid

Fantastic staff and always happy to help. Food is delicious. We get a mixed meat tray and the marinade is very nice sweet smokey taste.

Easy to get to to from Town Hall station. It pretty much took half hour door to door to get there from our hotel. There was nice selection meat to barbecue. Love the call buttons for assistance. Tried the meat and seafood combination for two and that was delicious. Portion size are large so come hungry.

Smelt like barbecue after but the atmosphere was lively and it’s a great restaurant to catch up and relax

Went here late on a Saturday night and I was pretty stoked with the level of service and the yummy food. The staff were wonderful and super friendly and helpful. I like forward to coming here again.

Excellent food and service! Take away is well done too if you would prefer to cook the food at home.

Most of the side dishes taste very good ,the traditional chilli kimchi is great,the pork soup was great, and the beef soup was not bad.will like to come back next time

Nice Korea restaurant. Our family have lunch there. Food was delicious. We can feel there generosity and sense of Korean value in there.

Strathfield is the Korean bbq go to. With the competition with other Korean places in around the street, this place does stands out. The seafood options and hot pots are amazing than others I’ve been to in Strathfield. Do have to wait in line in the evening but it’s not a very long wait. Have loved the experience each time I’ve been here.

My favorite go to Korean restaurant in strathfield! Average prices, very reasonable - fantastic side dishes and the menu is delicious! Great for group dinners and quick meals with a partner

Very happy with the service and the food, we ordered marinated beef, pork and chicken and we (two) barely finished... wooo much tasty food.

A must visit Korean restaurant. I love their bbudaejigae (Army Stew) and of course their wide range of meats and side dishes.

Decided to give this place a go and don’t regret it at all. Good variety of food! Amazing wagyu quality! Good service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back! Thank you for having us :).
