Wooden Bowl Strathfield

I loved this place!! So yummy and accomodating. I was able to order the black bean noodles pork free!! And tasted so good and authentic. Some vegetarian entrees available too! The spicy seafood soup was not fishy at all and was the perfect amount of spice.

Excellent service, food came out quickly even though it was busy. Everything was fresh and delicious with generous portion sizes. Highly recommend!!

The chicken was fresh and chilli sauce was good balance with the chicken.I ordered Jjam jja myun whic has yummy spicy and umamy. All staff were kind and the atmosphere was confortable for having a nice meal. Thank you.

Yummy and traditional Korea style, bibibamp and deep fry chicken are good, specially like the fry potatoes noodles, although $45 but portion enough for 2 adult and kids, my son like it so much. And taste like have it in Seoul. The photos not take before start is my fault, because taste good to start immediately.

The food here is great with fair price. Especially Bulgogi beef with rice and deep fried chicken with rice.
The staffs here is friendly, some may recommend you a good dish to eat.

I had a hard time finding this restaurant on google (to recommend to friends).
Upon finding it, I was shocked to read the reviews. I have dine at this place for the past 3 years at least 8 times and I have nothing but praise.

We always get the set menu ($45-50) Soup+ chicken + jamjamyeon. It is one of the best value set menu I have ever seen.

The staffs were polite and inclusive! All smiles!

I was very confused with the reviews as staffs were wearing mask every time we came during the peak of pandemic ( last visit two weeks ago).

I normally don’t write detailed review unless I feel like a service is being overcriticized or unappreciated.

This restaurant is constantly busy.
Ask for their recommendation so you don’t get disappointed trying random foods.
I highly recommend the chicken with special sauce.
