Origin Driving School

Highly recommend. My instructor David was friendly and very helpful. I did a 10 pack of lessons with him and passed my test on the first go.

Giving an extra star because my driving instructor David was fabulous and so easy going, however I received a call after requesting a call back and spoke to a man who gave me the option of automatic or manual, as I have a lot of experience driving manual I just wanted to top up my driving as I had not driven in four years. He told me my instructor would come and collect me which he did David was very punctual but when I got in the car it was automatic, I said sorry David I asked for manual he was confused and couldn’t understand why he was sent, I did the lesson anyways even though I was just cruising around, wasting my time and money and also David’s time. When I called and explained the situation I got a lecture on how not many people drive manuals, I said we spoke about this already and you gave me the option of manual or automatic and sent me an automatic, he started getting very loud and wouldnt let me speak and then said it’s my day off I’ll ring Tuesday, I said don’t bother and hung up!!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, don’t give me the option of you can’t provide the service!!!

Man on the phone seemed really rude. Tried to explain my situation which was fine until I said I just wanted 45 minutes not 1 hour then he proceeds to tell me that it will take double the time to learn then. I'm already very experienced and just wanted a second opinion because driving instructors seem to be milking people and ripping them off after corona.

You could not talk to a more negative sales person on the phone than the guy I just spoke to at origin driving school. He was pushy, rude and incredibly negative. What an appalling person to represent the company. Utter waste of time. Wouldn’t dream of letting my children anywhere near this driving school.
