Had a good experience. After I somehow made a booking error, staff were great and able to ammend my ticket for the date and time I needed. On the day the staff were all very friendly and my dog got a few pats. If you're with a pet you are confined to a small area of the boat but I had no issue as bringing the pet was without charge. Initially I thought the ticket was expensive but after the experience I now think it's reasonable. Would reccomend to save yourself a drive.

Been on the ferry a few times now. $186.20 for a car + driver. Quick load & unload time. Clean and good facilities on board. Comfy seats. Friendly staff, can't ask for much more!

Great way to travel with a toddler or children to break up the long trip. They serve great coffee too which is a plus! They run a very efficient ferry, ontime, smooth journey, friendly and professional staff and clean amenities. 👍

Going across on the ferry from Cowell to Wallaroo made the trip more adventurous and cut off 2-3 hours of drive time. Ferry staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very spacious and comfortable. A good variety of snacks & drinks available. Toilet facilities were clean. Enjoyed the two hour trip across the gulf.

Such a brilliant service, everyone working on the ferry is so helpful and friendly! The tall guy with the grey beard was non stop helping everyone with a smile, the lady who is so helpful and amazing if you need help with your dog, the young guy that makes the coffees, could go on and on, such a well managed ferry with excellent staff who go above and beyond.

Have now travelled the ferry four times. First few was from Lucky Bay and back from Wallaroo couple days later. Never really had an interest much in using it especially for the price of close to $200 one way with driver and car. Only went the first few times because hubby’s work paid for it. How I was wrong.

The first two times I was with my husband. We got to Adelaide much more relaxed then what we would have if we drove the whole way. The staff were lovely. And the canteen had a great selection of drinks and snacks.

Just did my third and fourth trip on my own to head to Adelaide to pick up my new puppy. On the way back the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. You have to sit on the top outside deck or in the sheltered area outside near the main seating area if you have a dog (this doesn’t apply to service dogs, they are allowed in the main area). However when needing to grab a coffee they were lovely enough to watch my new pup for me, even offered if I need more water for her just ask. And they brought my coffee up the top deck for me when it was ready. And little Dakota relaxed and enjoyed her first ferry trip. 🥰

I may have complained about the price before. But in future trips I will now definitely say well worth it. Keep up the great work guys! 😊

We travelled the seafood trail from Cowl to Lincoln Cowl we got Oysters and in Lincoln we got Prawns and they were all good but in Aron Bay we got it all go Arno Bay Caravan park. On the return to Adelaide instead of driving back through Wayalla and Augusta to Port Wakefield we used this wonderful Ferry service it is well worth it. Quick and restful nice ship nice seating food and drinks available.

Smooth ride from Wallaroo to Lucky Bay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Adequate food and drinks on board. Would like more table space. Another big tick off my bucket list! Well done, Spencer Gulf Seaways.

I can't rate these guys high enough. Staff went above and beyond expectations to ensure the man we were supporting to go on holiday was cared for the whole trip from Wallaroo to Lucky Bay and on return trip. His powered wheelchair broke down on boarding onto the ferry for the return trip from Lucky Bay to Wallaroo and Greg, plus others pushed his very heavy wheelchair with him still seated on it up the ramp to the lounge and then Greg supported him to get back down and onto the vehicle safely. Every staff member was amazing. I highly recommend travelling on this ferry. Many, many thanks from myself, Christine and our customer for a wonderful journey
Ps: food and coffee were great. Service with a smile 😃

Great way to cross the Spencer Gulf. Modern, fast car ferry with bar and screens and stuff, but the water itself is mesmerising on a flat day. The two-and-a-quarter hr trip is over before you know it. Crew are very competent and friendly.
