Jack's High St Cafe & Bakery

Great service and the food was delicious. Lots of Tables and chairs inside and a few outside. Lovely artwork on the walls. Toilets available out the back.

In the tourist strip amongst the antique stores, this unassuming bakery serves the goods. When we were there we didn’t see a huge array of pies and pastries, there were enough to choose if that’s your thing though.
Two small tables out the front, plenty inside and another 5 in the rear courtyard. Toilets available to patrons.
We chose the grilled chicken burger, made fresh and it was delicious. The all-important coffee was served hot and was great. The florentine was just the right amount of chewiness and delicious.
Service was fast, efficient and friendly.

Stopped over for breakfast on our way to Cape Jervis. Beautiful little place with plenty of options in their menu ,tasty food and great ambience.

I would love the little outdoor area to have a lil refurb as it's a bit barren, it wouldve been nice to sit out there! Otherwise, the service was lovely, food was delicious - nothing super fancy but they did simple perfectly. Had a great club sandwich and they were very accomodating for my food restrictions. Was a little confused about the signs insinuating alcoholic beverages but we couldn't see a cheeky schooner on the menu anywhere. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and taste!!

Helen and her staff are lovely. She remembers names and even favourite orders. The food is always fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. There is an excellent range available and food comes out quickly. Lots of space indoors and out so would be good for groups too. Highly recommended! 🥰

Consistently great coffee and wholesome food on offer. The staff are friendly and extremely efficient. Prices reasonable. Decor looking a little tired - but still one of my favorite places in Strathalbyn.

Such a wonderful dine in or takeaway bakery! We come here every time we go antique shopping in Strathalbyn and the food is always delicious and fresh. Very friendly staff and a lovely place to sit in for lunch 😊

Jacks is a regular spot for us. If in Strathalbyn & we have time we invariably call in for a coffee (& sometimes a snack). Foor & coffee are excellent but more important to me is our reception at the hands of the lovely people who run it. Always smiling & always pleasant. So, good food, warm welome & modest prices. What more can one ask?

Amazingly delicious hamburger, real mug size coffee, friendly and courtious service. Were served in a timely fashion, priced reasonably, will be back again.

Had Morning Tea with 56 'seniors' on Coach Tour - Helen & her staff were amazing in serving various hot drinks with delicious home-made scones, jam & cream - everyone delighted, and on our way in 60 minutes!

Great food. The focaccia is amazing with the bread always being really fresh. The coffee is always great and the staff are friendly.

A favorite place to go always. Friendly service and good food and lattes. Always an enjoyable time here. Recommend for somewhere with alot of extra space too.
