Katherine Visitor Information Centre

Very informative little centre with cool stuff to buy and public restrooms. The hours are great too even if you're passing through early on the weekend.

Extreamly helpful staff. Helped us arrange and book several trips and gave us tips about nice places to visit. Such wonderful service!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff that helped us on multiple occasions. Their suggestions for trips have been great. Our last trip to Groote Eylandt was not on our radar but was an experience we will never forget.

Very nice visitor centre with heaps of information about NT and WA. I also liked what's for sale, all local products, good to je able to support locals.

There was quite a queue on Saturday morning, but the young lady on duty was kind, helpful and patient with everyone; smiling as she gave each one of us all the information we needed. An excellent ambassador for Katherine.

OMG The best toasted sandwiches ever from the Black Russian Caravan bar, located at the info centre.

Having spent a month in our van up here, we have nothing but praise for the centre! Especially Julia who was not only very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, but was also fun to deal with, my wife and I “Thank you very much”

Helpful staff and plenty of information for your stay in Katherine and the NT.

A visitor center is always my first stop in a new town and Katherine Visitor information centre was no different. Plenty of brochures inside, informative staff and plenty of parking. There sre public toilets here and a cool little food van outside. Worth a stop.

Suzie and the staff at Katherine Information centre could not have been more helpful. Great travelling tips and assistance with moving booking dates made prior to our NT trip.

Very informative. Jack told us some funny news of close-encounters with crocs :) Helped with our Katherine Gorge booking. Recommended mechanic for our motorhome. Even gave us biz card in case we had more questions later. So helpful & wonderful! Thank you very much!

Really helpful, they gave us plenty of info and we didn’t feel rushed or pressured. We booked a helicopter flight over Katherine Gorge.

The staff is amazing! When my car broke down on a Saturday they were extremely helpful. They contacted every repair shop in town, and even called some local friends who were mechanically minded. Definitely my favorite Information Center in Australia. Cheers!!

One of the best information places I've ever been to. Loveena was outstanding in both her manner and knowledge she shared. Colour coded all our info which made it so much easier for us.didn't push us through and obviously loved her job. Left feeling very satisfied that we had as much info as we needed.
