Disc Taiwan Wheel Cake

Delightful dessert on the lower ground of Melbourne Central. I thoroughly enjoyed my wheel cake. I chose matcha redbean. The cake was warm and soft and the flavours were yummy and not too sweet. I’ll come back to try other flavours. They have deals if you buy more than one, so it could be good to bring a friend and share a few.

Delicious! I stopped by today after noticing the store a couple weeks back. Have quite a few flavours to choose from. I opted for the taro. Its was slightly warm on the outside and the filling was cool. The texture was great as it was crunchy on the outer pancake-esque part and soft cake like middle with the taro filling. The staff were friendly and I was served quickly. Definitely recommend if you want a little treat that isn't overly sweet!

Nice dessert with fancy flavor, they also do customize in case people allergy with some ingredients they will do it straight away. For people want to try a traditional Taiwan snack you can also have slavery choice. Give it a go I bet you won’t regret 👍 detail mark each flavor with kindness and friendly service!

The staff members, especially the owner, has always been exceptionally wonderful and kind hearted. Every time my partner and I come to buy their taro latte, they always greet us with the biggest smiles and they’re always amazing.

The taro latte has a strong refreshing scent that is creamy and with the right amount of sweetness. The discs themselves were warm, full of filling and perfect for those who like convenience and on the go snacks.

A lovely Taiwanese custard pancake wheels come with a variety of filling. Custard was not too sweet so I like it and the wheels pancake was soft and fluffy which made a lovely combo. Price is nice if compare with a size and even cheaper if you buy 3 pieces. I love regular custard and the one with Nutella the most.

Yesterday I walked pass this shop in Melbourne central. And I wonder what a nice smell that came from, me and my partner quickly looked at the Disc Taiwan wheel cake shop and I tried custard ones. Omg! That’s absolutely beautiful, it tastes sweet but not that sweet. Also the lady that made this for us, she has a nice smile and very friendly.

Very delicious and well crafted cakes. They are essentially like a stuffed slightly hardened Pancake with a custard filling in the middle along with anything else you want. I got Nutella in mine and it was delicious, for the price it's also very good.

what can i say? how can you not fall in love with the taiwanese famous Dessert, it’s well known as Wheel cake, literally it’s look like one.
i have a Taro, pork floss, matcha red bean, and the corn cheese. taro is the best!! it’s not overly sweet, and smooth from the inside. matcha w red bean was pretty classic, you can never go wrong with that .
the corn cheese are my least favourite, but doesn’t it’s terrible .

My favourites are the Oreo and Nutella. The lady owner is very friendly and kind too😊 ( It is best to consume the cakes within a day)

One of my favourite is matcha custard (green tea) flavour. Freshly cook when order. Price starts from $3.50 each or 3 for $10.00 or special flavour $4.50 each or 3 for $12.00. Located in Melbourne Central station food court.

Reasonable price. The cream inside is delicious, it’s not so sweet. The staff has great service mind to write a note so I can tell which flavor is which one.

Bro I love this place. The people are always nice and the the cakes are very delicious. It is a bit messy but very much worth it.

I had Vanilla Custard, Matcha Custard and Salty Radish today, it's was really yummy, custard are bit too sweet for me, BUT Salty Radish definitely my favorite, take me straight back to Taiwan, will be back to visit again for sure. 100%! kám-Siā Thâu-Ke 🙏

My family always love this place. Especially my son. My fan is banila custard and my son is the oreo. The guy that serving me is so friendly and provide great info on how to heat it up in air fryer. Thank you. This is always my to go place when i go to city. ☺

As a Taro person I love their creamy Taro wheel cake, there are taro chunks in the mash🤤. The shell is thin and crispy. Quite filling as a treat as well.
Worth grabbing one if your train is 10-15mins away.

They sell awesome Taiwanese food here. There are a wide range of fillings to choose from, such as their Azuki Bean or Vanilla ones. These are encased in a shell which tasted like a waffle or pancake. It was really good. The Vanilla filling wasn’t overly sweet, which was awesome. Would recommend! You’ll be able to find them in the Melbourne Central food court.

Very nice dessert next to a good cup of coffee. It’s pretty filling so my partner and I just get 3 (with the bundle for the price of $10). I usually don’t like Taro but I like it when it’s in the wheel cake! The apple crumble is my personal favourite. Feel free to take a seat with you takeaway coffee and cakes by the State Library, it’s a great vibe. The staff are lovely and friendly. Support this local business for sure.
