IGA Ashfield

Renovated since I lived nearby. It's a decent little corner-shop IGA, I wouldn't go there for my weekly shop but great for quick milk-runs.

Sells hot meals now, they're good value if you're looking for a cooked lunch.

Not the iga but towards the end is a Turkish Kebab shop. They make the best Souvlakis (kebabs they call them I think) EVER!! AND they make their own bread/dough/base thingy. Recommend highly!! A really good Burger and Hotdog place next door too. Gotta try them too,they're just as good!!

I remember when it opened about 40 years ago, always nice to visit old memories, surprised to see shelves well stocked at this time of shortages and hot food available

Lovely staff, cheap prices, only drawbacks are the rude stalkers harassing me for money when I get out of my car for 'busfare home' but that's not something iga staff can realistically control. Thanks for the lovely service guys and girls!!

They have a good range of products,easy parking,reasonable prices,helpful friendly staff. I've been there a few times and will certainly go there again.

Has an awesome hot food section, with a huge choice of warm meals, ready to go.
Like pasta bakes, lasagna, curries, chips, etc.

I was very impressed with the variety and prices and really enjoyed the large selection of cooked food.

Also have some of the best take away pasta and roast meals I've tasted. Good prices.
