Camellia Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway Food

Family dinner, lots of dishes, all the food was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. I’ve only had the take out before but dine in is great too!

This is our local Chinese take away place but it is honestly the best! I have tried chinese food from several different places over the years and this place never disappoints. Food is always hot and fresh. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with their food. Very happy local customer. Boneless Lemon Chicken, Beef and Black Bean, Mongolian Lamb, Special Fried Rice, Spring Rolls and Prawn Crackers are all amazing!

Great, small restaurant. Meal courses were fresh made and hot. Good, crisp vegetables, especially appreciated after days of road travel.The waitress was fun, and enthusiastic. Popular for take aways we noticed.

First time customer last night. Busy night, freo game on so lots of phone orders as well as pick up takeaway. I ordered at the counter and asked how long it would be. 20 minutes was the estimate but I figured it would be a bit longer due to the demand. I headed to the nearby Tavern to watch the game and returned about 30 minutes later. My order had been accidentally forgotten I think and the young girl at the counter apologised profusely. Within 10 minutes my order came out and Steve (owner) came out and apologised to me and handed me a $10 note as a thank you. This was totally unexpected but gratefully accepted. The food was the best Chinese I have eaten in ages. The service error was fixed immediately and they created a golden moment from a lead brick. Well dine you are an excellent example of a good small business that keeps the customer at the front of mind all the time.

Best Chinese food I’ve had. Tried many of the dishes and all are delicious. My favourite is the chicken chow mien. Always grab a lunch special and it does me for dinner aswell

The food has been great every time. The spring rolls and satay chicken being my favourite. I've ordered satay chicken at every restaurant I've been to and Camellia has the best.

The decor is a little dated, but we enjoy it, as it reminds us of when we were younger. The lighting is subdued, and it's a very calm and peaceful environment. It's never too crowded when we go, which suits us, as we're both very introverted.

I envy the people who live so close to this gem. We travel all the way from Armadale on public transport just to eat here. It's worth it.

Tried many Chinese restaurants and by far Steven and his team work hard to ensure we enjoy every meal. I love to dine in and often if they not to busy Steven will sing to us. Very kid friendly if you have young ones (ours are growing up so not so little anymore). A MUST for either dine in or takeaway

Tried this handy restaurant last Friday had the schashwan beef and beef chow me in both beautiful and was planning to have it tonight but covid has put a stop to that.

This is my local Chinese Restaurant and it is THE BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! Been going here for many years (since I was a little nipper) and it's continued to be the best. The decor (although dated, not uncomforatble) hasn't changed over the years from what I can remember and the service is tops but the food is spectacular. I've tried others around Aus and am yet to find one that comes close. Treat yourself.

This is my most favourite Chinese Takeaway... If I'm feeling like some Chinese for dinner I always travel out of my own suburb to the Camellia.. One day I'll have to dine in.. I havent done so yet as I like eating at home.. The takeaway servings are always very generous..

Excellent food. As good as it comes. Perfect fried rice.
If you know what good fried rice tastes like. Wonton soup is good .combination omlette perfect.

Good food gotten a bit pricey for some entrees specially when they don't make them up fresh.
