Sapporo Sushi

For a small restaurant the food was well above average. The service was quick and the food well presented. I got there early so it was reasonably quiet, but as we ate, the customers were starting to pour in.
The restaurant is clean and the tables well laid out to keep up for the social distancing.
I am a fussy eater and will give an honest opinion of the places I visit, This place is really an 8 star for the tasty food. cleaned all our plates and NO doggy bag required.

Regular customer always have great food, the noodle dishes, spring rolls and spicy tuna especially.
Rang them this morning to see if they could do a platter for me within the next 20 mins. They did it per my requests and it was ready by the time I got there! Thanks !

Excellent customer service and delivery. I heard that one of their chefs spent 10 years in Japan learning from the best sushi chefs in the world. They were considered so good that they surpassed their sensei. Would love to order again 10/10

I’m a regular with sapporro sushi and can say Beef bento set not so good but Katsu and karaage sets both fantastic food. Sushi never disappoints awesome to have locally available.

My son had told me how good the salmon nigiri was at Sapporo Sushi Ellenbrook - now I know. All their sushi always appears fresh and when not in display, they will tell you when the next batch will be available. They gave a wides selection of varieties and pack sizes.

Love the sushi here. Nice and fresh and some great flavours. Customer service is also fantastic

Katsu chicken

It's okay

Not too bad, doesn't look like the picture. Rice was the best part, and more salad would have been better. No sauce was included with my order, which is pretty annoying.

Rather average sushi, very hit and miss sometimes its ok and sometimes it's pretty bad. Also they never seem to roll it properly and so most pieces fall apart as soon as you pick them up.

Clearly the economic crisis has impacted the Ellenbrook store. Rice paper rolls my partner purchased were tiny and thin.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Partner and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat today for lunch. I know we’re all struggling with the prices of food going through the roof, but where’s the rest of my salad? The chicken tasted old, and the curry sauce was more of a curry soup! Also my partner ordered the chicken teriyaki and even his tasted old and the chicken was like it was roasted and then boiled. Wishing we read the reviews before stopping here!

Watched a customer in front of me drop their food on the floor as they were paying and no replacement was offered. The staff deliberately ignored. When I asked if the customer in front could get a refund the staff shook their heads.

Food was terrible. Boiled chicken with some sauce on top. Genuinely worse 'Japanese' food I've had.

The sushimi was not fresh, it tasted and smelt too old to use raw! I paid $11.99 (including a public holiday surcharge) just to throw it in the bin.
I tried calling but there was no answer and no ability to leave a message…

Chicken kaarage was uncooked, miso soup was cold and staff was so unhygienic (rubbing his nose every few mins, combing his hair, scratching himself etc). Would not recommend!
