We experienced one of the best Korean BBQ in an unexpected place - the “Chinese side” of Eastwood at @gogijib.eastwood. The quality of their wagyu beef was unbelievable - we especially enjoyed the chuck roll with MBS 8-9, short rib meat and rib finger with MBS 6+ and the flap meat with MBS 8-9. The meat was so tender and soft after the BBQ and the marbled meat literally just dissolved into our mouths. Their other Korean dishes were solid, and we also enjoyed the fried chicken in soy which was crunchy on the outside and tender inside, Yuk Hwei (marinated fresh beef sashimi) which had a nice fresh clean taste and the spicy muscle soup which was beautifully flavoured. They also serve a total of 12 side dishes (banchan) which accompanied the meal well.

Very good customer service and relatively quiet for conversations compared to others! Food a bit pricey but worth it!

The food and the service are amazing! The food are such a big portion as well. We ordered the wagyu set, which cost about $100. When the set was served, we were amazed by the quality of the meat and the portion. I think this is the best Korean BBQ restaurant in Eastwood. If you looking for a good quality Korean meal, this is the one! By the way, they are not expensive at all. We will definitely come back !

We kind of just wandered in the first time, not the easiest to find but my wife and I had a great experience and thought it would be nice to come back with the kids. We did that tonight and it was great again. My eyes can't quite see the menu very well so we just ordered the combo and it was intense, the fire was blazing and we cooked everything instantly. My wife liked everything and that made me happier. Don't complain about the price. Save up and enjoy yourself.

Hands down one of the best Korean restaurants in Sydney. Their galbi (beef rib) soup is amazing. Best 짬뽕 and 오징어 덥밥! Must try!

The staff was quite well trained and helped us with our first Korean BBQ experience. The marinated beef tasted absolutely wonderful. They were quite good with the conversation too and made us feel comfortable and gave us an at home feeling. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome experience with family and friends, that too at a very good price.

Took a party of 8 there last week. Highly recommended great food and the BBQ meats were so tender. Great value and excellent service. Will definately be back for more.
