I was so worried about my appointment, based on a bad experience with a doctor years ago. Gemma was so kind and friendly, made me feel comfortable and I wasn’t in any pain. So glad my GP recommended me to her.

Dr Gemma Blain is one of the most compassionate health professionals I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I underwent a recently biopsy after a traumatic previous one. Dr Gemma Blain explained everything thoroughly and treated me with the utmost respect and understanding the entire consultation and procedure.

I am very grateful for the care I received and appreciate all the steps taken to ensure the experience was as comfortable and as non-invasive as possible. It is so greatly appreciated.

Dr Gemma is an excellent obstetrician, and was always caring and compassionate throughout my pregnancy, despite medical complexities and my significant anxiety. She was very punctual for appointments but I never felt rushed. She was very calm at the birth and I had a positive experience. I would highly recommend Dr Gemma. Her receptionist Rita is also wonderful, and quick to respond to emails and phone calls.

Dr Gemma Blain is a wonderful obstetrician. I can not recommend her enough! She was highly knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and very skilful. She took the time to happily answer any and all the questions I had about my pregnancy (even the questions I sent by email or text!). She is very encouraging and has a positive spirit. She works with you to help you in deciding what you would like to do in terms of birth. She gives you all the information and the facts and allows you to choose which route you would like to go without prejudice. Her receptionist Rita is so lovely and friendly and was always happy to help with any enquiries.

Dr. Gemma Blain is fantastic. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Gynaecologist or Obstetrician. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about every issue that I was experiencing, and was also very patient with me and answered every single question I had. She took all my concerns seriously, provided great treatment, and was caring at the same time. I personally have very high anxiety about medical appointments and get dizzy/faint at most medical appointments I have (vagal response). During my appointment when I started to get dizzy, Dr. Blain really helped me. She allowed me to rest and provided me with everything I needed to regain my strength before moving forward in the appointment and leaving her office. As someone who often faints at the doctors office, I am SO appreciative of her calm and caring nature, because not all doctors are so understanding. Thank you so much Dr. Blain, you are wonderful!

I couldn’t recommend Dr Blain enough. Dr Blain is professional, knowledgeable, supportive and my husband and I had a fantastic first birth experience in her care. I had a difficult pregnancy and birth and the support I received from Dr Blain made a challenging time much more manageable and empowering.

Dr.Gemma is a great Doctor. Her counselling and follow up email/phone call was very very helpful.
