Ravensbourne Escape

We stayed at Affinity, a studio style one-bedroom accommodation at Ravensbourne Escape. It was the perfect getaway, very spacious, with luxurious, high-end appointments throughout. We loved every minute of our stay, from the cosy fireplace to the lovely hot tub on the deck. The awesome views out to the mountains made us feel instantly relaxed, and it was so peaceful. Our host Rob was very welcoming, and also very helpful with suggestions of places to dine. The National Park is a short 300 metres away, with great picnic areas and rainforest walks to enjoy. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

Quince Cottage is a very special place. The views are absolutely magical!!! The peace and tranquility of the are was amazing. You could not hear anything apart from some birds and cows down in the valley below. We had beautiful sunny days and also an amazing rainy foggy day where the cabin was surrounded by mist all day.
We absolutely loved our stay here!!!

I meant to share this review earlier but wanted to take time to do it justice.

My partner and I stayed at Ravensbourne Escape for (to her surprise) our proposal.

How beautiful and tranquil this place is is difficult to put into words. But we had a beautiful relaxing experience here. And would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in the Affinity studio. Great size, beautifully appointed. We loved that weather was a bit cooler than Brisbane and we could even enjoy the hot spa and plush robes. Only thing I would change is the bathroom sliding door. It is glass and, being in the bedroom, it means the morning light comes through fully, so there is no opportunity to sleep in if you are not a morning person. That may not be an issue in other cottages, not sure.
Meals at My Little Blueberry and Myrtille in Crows Nest were fabulous and certainly added to the experience. Looking forward to our return trip in winter!!!

Quiet, peaceful, restful! Amazing! Amazing views, picturesque backdrop, every amenity you could think of. Cosy fire to laze in front of. A wonderful relaxing couple of days - wish it had of been longer. Thank you 🌴

My wife and newborn went for a getaway and we couldn't have been more happy with our stay. The spa an view was amazing.

We stayed at Quingilli recently for our mother's 80th birthday. She is mainly in a wheelchair, and the house was almost perfect with someone who has mobility issues (although the couch was too low for her). The place has everything - great layout; all the amenities; all needed for self catering and views to die for. There was even some colourful visitors in the afternoons. The place is quiet - so not for you if you like to party wildly, but a terrific place to relax and unwind and just enjoy the serenity.

We loved our stay at the Stella Luna house at Ravensbourne Escape. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms modern and we especially loved the high ceilings and beautiful views! We stayed as there was a wedding close by at The Woods. Highly recommend booking this particular house for a family getaway, particularly as some other houses were set quite close to neighbours and had requirements to keep noise down when using the patio/balcony spaces. No such issue here!

Beautiful location and scenery - so peaceful. It is about half an hour away from Esk, and 37min from Toogoolawah where we joined the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail for a cycle - very easily accessible and parking on site with the bikes was easy. The room was spotless and the breakfast basket was plentiful and delicious. The spa pool was great and private. Very easy booking process and communicative hosts, who we didn't see, but didn't need to, as they gave us detailed access information in advance.

What more can I say this place is beyond amazing.
I can’t wait to come back but our night here is exactly what we needed…

We cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed in Affinity and it was sublime. The location, the views over the National Park and far into the distance, the service and communication from Rob throughout the whole stay, the studio itself, the spa on the deck overlooking the views, and how the place was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and beyond, was all way above what we expected. As we arrived on a cold afternoon, we were greeted by the toasty warmth from the heating that had been turned on ready for us. 👏

We stayed at Ravensbourne Escape Affinity, such a beautiful peaceful place, quiet, amazing views. Clean and tidy with spacious rooms, Spa on the deck was perfect to just relax and look over the mountains. Lovely way to spend our anniversary, and to get away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were more then welcoming and even suggested local activities 😊

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Ravensbourne Escape for our wedding weekend. We had our bridal party and family also join us across the cottages and apartments and it was amazing. The girls and I stayed in the quince cottage which is a beautiful cottage with amazing views and feels like you are in your own Alice of paradise! It was the perfect place to make our wedding weekend truly memorable. A huge thanks to Rob who went out of his way to make everything go smoothly for us!

Incredible stay at Ravensbourne. Beautiful, clean, large rooms that come fully equipped for you to enjoy the space without having to go too far. The views from the balcony are stunning and the spa was a very nice inclusion.

We spent 3 nights at Ravensbourne Escape for our wedding anniversary, and as soon as we walked into the studio apartment we were blown away. Everything was like new, and its position for the view and privacy was absolutely perfect.
We had made plans to do activities around the region, however we were so comfortable and relaxed, that we just stayed in the accommodation the entire time, eating breakfast at the breakfast bar looking out over the valley, having drinks in the afternoon on the deck listening to the birds and enjoying more of the view. The hot tub was amazing, and the wood fire at nights was a big hit with my wife.
We can easily say it’s one of the most enjoyable and relaxing “getaways” we’ve ever had, and we will be going back without question.
Rob and the team were a pleasure to deal with, and we wanted for nothing.

Amazing, quiet location. Very well provisioned with excellent coffee, tea, firewood (with the fire in the fire place all ready to light!). Excellent internet and entertainment system /tv. Wet lived it!

We stayed in the Tranquility chalet, and it was an absolutely amazing weekend away. Beautiful views, and the chorus of birdsong is very relaxing. A tranquil place to rest, relax and recharge. The hosts are beyond helpful, with service second to none. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone, whether you're by yourself, a couple or a family.

My husband and I stayed in the Quingilli cabin and it was all things beautiful. All of the little details made our stay so lovely. The beds were super comfortable, the spa was so nice. And even something as small as the fact they had really good quality pots and pans. Rob and Anita really care about service and were so wonderful through the whole process.

We will definitely be back very soon!

Beautiful place. We stayed at Windsong. The views were lovely, from downstairs and upstairs (especially the lovely enclosed balcony upstairs; it was so beautiful during the day but also great for viewing the stars and lightning storm). Everything was so very clean and well maintained (and also amazingly bug free for the bush). The appliances and all the kitchenware seemed almost new and there was everything we needed to self-cater. The area around it was lovely for walks and exploring. Was a lovely holiday for us and our 4 and 6 year olds.
