Lights on the Hill Queensland Truck and Coach Drivers Memorial

good place to visit, it is both a very good place to relax and a landmark.
there's a lake just beside this landmark area with many picnic area, with bbq place and place to cover, so no need to afraid if there will be rain soon.
got playground for child to play.
many choices of things for playing as well.
its just next to lake apex.

This is my first visit to this memorial.. wow.. really impressed.. Very touching.. lots to read.. Only called in quickly, so next time I will spend more time...

Beautiful park, great to see Apex Lake full of water again after it being dry for so long. Excellent playground for kids of all ages and the bird life has returned too..... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We have a memorial plaque for our dad there. We visit all the time. The group that run the memorial are doing this for their love of all drivers, and genuinely care.

I'd never seen this type of memorial, it was very sad to see all those lives lost on the roads of our truck & bus drivers :( A moving monument located on the edge of Gatton.

Good stop. A worthy tribute to the people that keep our beautiful country running.

A nice place to come and contemplate the life and death of truckie and those they love. I didn't realise, they didn't necessarily pass away on the job on the roads. Pick up some rubbish to help keep it tidy while you are there 🙂

Great place for the family has toilet and plenty of parking

Very well displayed a great tribute to our trucking men and women.

A beautiful place of peace, emotional reflection. A place to remember and honour men and women of the Transport industry who have lost their lives. All so Read their names on the plaques and poems placed on the wall.
Each year around October the Area comes to life with the Convoy of hundreds of trucks on the Saturday coming from the East and from the West , congregating at the Gatton Show Grounds, on the Sunday there is the Moving memorial service, sadly adding more names to the wall and remembering all. Open to the public.

Amazing lake to spend time.

It's a beautiful memorial for truck drivers. It's clean and well maintained. The gardens look so pretty and the truck memorial pieces are well done.

Wow what a way to remember our transport workers, this was a really nice monument. Loved the design that represents the truck front end, even the path way around it was made to look like a road. Well done Gatton

Beautiful place, and is a lovely tribute to all the truck drivers who have passed on, the lights on the hill is worth seeing if only once in your lifetime, there is a pond and a play area for the children, lovely view, picnic tables to sit at if U want to have a picnic, a most see place for everyone to visit

My favourite bottle shop. Never have a problem getting what I want, only go there every couple of months and always find bargains. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly
