Fresh skewers and food was so delicious 😋
Was bit busy so we waited longer to get our food but worth it. Normally I don't eat lamb cuz of smelly but in this restaurant lamb didn't smell at all. If you want to try fresh skewers then visit and try!

Great concept . Tasty food and the lamb skewers are good value . Not sure why some people complaining on here. The only skewers that a minimum order applies to is the lamb which is 10 . At $25 for 10 it’s a great to share between two people then go abased and order as much as you like if other meats or avoid lamb altogether . We had pork, beef , squid, and tofu skewers as well as some good Banchan that is complimentary . The cucumber and beef salad was outstanding . Great for the kids , interactive and tasty . Leave you iPads at home and get the kids involved .

Tasty food, the beef ribs were delicious! Would be nice if could order a few mixed skewers instead of 20 as we were only 2 people. But I loved the food and the service was nice too!

Remember:
1. If you get a plate of veggies, there are grills for the BBQs under the counter where the spices and cups are.
2. You can season your skewers before you start bbq-ing them.

Kids: they have high chairs, but there are a lot of hazards (e.g. moving hot coals in metal baskets). It's a balance.

Breastfeeding friendly.

Accessibility: for wheelchairs, there is everything. No stairs, accessible toilet, chairs, not booths, space to manoeuvre. In terms af sensory accessibility, it is less good. Very loud and busy with hot coals and few places to retreat to.

This place is a classic. The lamb skewers are the main attraction and they deliver. At first glance the raw skewers may look ominous with the large chunks of fat but as they cook those greatly reduce and the final product is the most delectably juicy and flavourful lamb. I of course promptly bathe mine in the savoury chilli cumin spice powder and it is such a flavour sensation.

Sides are good too, and all the various random food dishes I’ve ever had here are great. It’s a good ambience in here, and service is prompt and efficient.

Pricing is actually reasonable too. Every time I’ve gone here we expect to be destroyed when we see the bill, but it always ends up being less than we expected.

My first time been Bak too San was in 4years ago. I love the lamb sticks there, and the green onion salad. Good place to go! Good price, good meat, and friendly staff.

First time trying skewers and it was amazing! The machine that rolls the skewer automatically was awesome, made the whole dining experience more interesting and convenient. Would love to come back soon!

What a meal. Ordered the 40 skewers of lamb, tender juicy and flavoursom!

Korean/Chinese based food. I found it to be fusioned as to catering Korean cuisine but in a Chinese styled way and flavour wise.

As always you dont know until you go and try yourself!!

Best Chinese bbq in Sydney~ reasonable price and very fresh meat. You will love it.

To be honest I do not know why there are some negative reviews. We are a super fan of 白头山, have been here so many times since 2017 and it has always been the best bbq restaurant in Sydney. We have tried other bbq restaurants and this is still the very best of all.
The owner is really warm-hearted. He might get misunderstood due to language but he is always a kind man and happy to help. And the food is just amazingly tasty, very juicy lamb skewers.
This restaurant changed address (just across the road). It's now installed with all the new auto bbq equipment there's no price rise in lamb skewers at all, very impressed!!! We will definitely go back again (though it takes some of us 1 hour driving to the place, it's worth the drive absolutely!!)

Its best lamb skewer in sydney. Cheap skewer only 1.50 per skewer and others are also cheap with a good taste. But a little problem is fire is quiet strong so you might feel bit hot. Boss can speak Chinese and korean.

Authentic yan bian restaurant. If you want to know how north koreans and the city of yanbian in china ate,then this place is a must. Order a minimum of 20 lamb skewers and enjoy with soju and beer
