Sana Middle Eastern Restaurant

Delicious food! We got the platter and it was amazing value. Best meal we’ve had in a long time! Fabulous service too.

For our second visit to Sana, we booked for a group of 15 for Mother’s Day. I received a call from the manager Bart, who explained they would be able to accommodate us on the front alfresco as they were expecting an extremely busy day of service.
When we arrived Bart was, once again, so helpful and accommodating, as were the rest of the staff.
We enjoyed the banquet menu, with a vast mix of succulent seafood, delicious grilled meats, vegetarian options, dips, breads and sensational desserts. There was far more than we could finish! The cocktails were all delicious too!
Just the most perfect experience for all of us, especially the mums on the table.
Thanks Bart and team. We will be back again, very soon!

At first I was very unsure about eating here and Middle Eastern isn't and normally wouldn't be be my first choice but I'm so glad we came here. This place is definitely on our list of "must eat again".

The service was fairly quick, and the servers were polite and friendly, the food was set at a good price, the menu wasn't too big or small and have a few vegetarian options. The food was amazing, the bread may have been a slight bit oily, however it was so soft, the dips where a great size, the spiced potatoes were seasoned great and the Fattoush was so full of flavour and I really enjoyed the Vegan Cheesecake.

We had a walk in dinner without booking. We were hungry, but we couldn't finish the delicious Sana's plate for two. As shown in my attached photos. The flavour of the dips, with hidden background flavours had us discussing what could be creating such a unique taste until I paid and asked the kitchen. They did confirm one secret ingredient. Yum Yum Yum. Thank you so much, we are tourists from Victoria. And really loved the whole vibe of Market St, Fremantle.

Love the way pumpkin was seasoned with tamarind. And a very special find of vegan baklava, and the lemon flavored syrup in it!

Located in the heart of fremantle, this is a great place to sit down and enjoy coffee ☕ and people watching. There was a singer in house who was amazing. Beautiful chillax songs. Had ordered the basmati rice, with samak (swordfish) and lamb cutlets also Chai latte to wash it all down. The food was average but good enough. The waitress who was serving us was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was amazing. Recommended for avid people watchers

Very, very nice food. We had the baby squid, some sort of salad, lamb cutlets (my favourite), king prawns and cauliflower.

All the dishes were great.

Will come again. A nice change from the standard Italian you find in Fremantle.

The shared platter is great if you don't know what you want to eat and it also comes with dessert which is a bonus!!

We had a wonderfull experience at Sana on a Saturday night. The vegan platter was substantial with a fantastic variety of plates off the menu, Highly Recommend the Squid which was Excellent and perfectly cooked, the whole dinner was likely made even better washed down with some tasty cocktails. With our new born baby in tow the staff were very friendly and accommodating, we sat out side under the heated Alfresco which we enjoyed. Would definitely dine again, Thank you Sana.

Sana is a newly opened Middle Eastern Tapas restaurant in the heart of Fremantle.
They have a great range of vegan options, including this incredible Vegan Mezze Platter for Two ($99, GFO), which is a fantastic way to try out their vegan dishes. I was told this is one of the best sellers at Sana, and I wasn’t surprised! The platter was absolutely huge (be sure to come with an empty stomach!), and everything was packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection. It also comes with dessert served afterwards (don’t forget to save some room!).

The platter includes:
🌱Bread & dips: Hummus, Roasted Beetroot & Baba Ganoush, Labneh
🌱Tabouleh - parsley, tomatoes, white cabbage, cauliflower couscous, spring onion, radish
🌱Twice cooked Spiced Potatoes
🌱Grilled corn with sumac
🌱Maghmour - eggplant, tomato, capsicum, mushrooms, chickpea
🌱Biadhinjin- fried tempura eggplant, toum, pomegranate glaze
🌱Zahrah - golden brown cauliflower, pomegranate, tahini dressing
🌱Dessert - vegan cheesecake

My favorites were the crispy potatoes and the tempura eggplant, but honestly I couldn’t fault a thing. I really loved the variety of flavours and attention to detail with each of the separate dishes. They also have a great drinks menu, I tried the Grilled Pineapple & Chili Cocktail and it was fantastic!🍹
Be sure to book a table if you plan on coming on a Friday or Saturday night as it does get booked out!

What even was this deliciousness! Had a share platter for lunch. Service from the moment we walked in, to leaving, was superb! Our food was beautifully presented, tasty, generous, and flavors perfectly balanced. I don't know corn could be so fun! Bread was pillowy soft, tabouleh delicate, meats and crispy potatoes grilled perfectly, panna cotta silky. A great find. Will be back!

Stumbled here with two girlfriends yesterday after the markets were too packed, werent sure what to expect. Were suggested to try the platter or three dishes each (tapas style) but thought we would tackle the menu instead and very glad we did!
For 3 people we had 2 dips, 2 breads, roast cauliflower, spiced potatoes, chicken tenderloins, lamb koftas & squid.
The platters coming out looked great too.
The food was totally delicious and we loved every dish. We would definitely come back and recommend to others! Cost was $109 / 3 so $37pp (no drinks) definitely worth it in my books.

Glad this new restaurant opened up in Freo. I’ve had a faultless dining experience. Customer service was fantastic, the food and drinks were AMAZING and we didn’t have to wait too long. Great portion size and reasonably priced. Hands down the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had! Will definitely come back, 100% recommend checking this place out!

Sana is basically our Fremantle fave. We love it here! The food is flavoursome and hits the spot every time! We've ordered the Sana Platters several times now including the last time relatives were visiting from overseas. They were most impressed! Service is wonderful and friendly, and the ambience five stars! Will be back again and again! 💕

What a trip this morning, I've arrived from Melbourne for my first ever trip to WA and I've booked my accommodation in Fremantle.

Being a very hungry traveler after waking up at 4AM Melbourne time, being met with the absolute state of Melbourne Airport Domestic Terminal 'food', I passed on my meal options there and on the plane, choosing to get to Fremantle before eating anything.

Walking around Fremantle exploring to kill time before my check in time, I discovered Sana Middle Eastern Restaurant at around 12PM Fremantle time, and oh my lord am I glad I did.

This place serves up a Middle Eastern feed that SURPASSES anything you will get in either the northern suburbs of Melbourne or the powerhouse of Middle Eastern cuisine that is Western Sydney.

We ordered the Sana share plate for two and we struggled to get through it all let alone the final effort to eat our way through the Rosewater Pana Cotta and Baklava desert course after as well, which is saying something as we're of Italian heritage and we love our food!

I love me some potatoes (mmm carbs!) and the spiced potatoes served up with this dish are unlike anything I've ever experienced, out of this world.

The dips to accomodate the bread, absolutely fantastic. The bread obviously made in house was delicious too.

Then the lamb kofta and the chicken, by God, amazing!

Hats off to the whole team here at Sana Middle Eastern Restaurant, the front of house staff are excellent and the chef, well they've served up the best Middle Eastern feed I've ever had - I love Middle Eastern cuisine and Sana Middle Eastern Restaurant has set the bar for all the others to match.

Move over Melbourne and Sydney, Fremantle has THE BEST Middle Eastern cuisine you'll ever experience.

A great meal all round, a fantastic medley of flavors of middle eastern food. The restaurant was very busy on the Saturday evening we went to Sana, super full and consequently rather noisy. We should have booked earlier and stipulated a table outside. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing! We had the corn, chicken shawarma and the fattoush salad.
We were the only ones in the restaurant, so food came really quickly. The lady serving us was really kind. Nice restaurant which looks small but is actually quite big.
