Newington Marketplace

My wife Lassie Zia and I go to Newington Marketplace all the time. It has really good parking and it's a nice small centre with that great Fish and Chips place, Kebabs and a nice Woolworths.

It feels good there and it's a good place to shop.

It's also quite pretty and I've even pumped into quite a few clients there as I pass through!

Great little shopping centre for all your eating needs. Always pull up here when heading to and from and event at Olympic Park. I travel from North Coast so always come here to eat before and after. Also liquor store here too.

Nice small place which includes a Woolworths, few cafes, Thai restaurant, kebab shop and fish and chip shop. Surrounds an outdoor area, very dog friendly!🐶

Great place to shop excellent Christmas decorations. Although a Christmas tree would have been so nice in the centre.

Great pie shop across the road from Silverwater Gaol. Visit a friend or loved one then grab a pie and a Cooper's longkneck.
Remember Humour

A great little shopping complex with Woolworths, bakery, seafood, Asian grocery and quite a few other stores and many dining options.

Has a wolly's, a couple of cafes, bakeries, a subway, a bank, abkebeb shop, a pharmacy, a public toilet, a small lawn for kids to run on, some well placed public tables and chairs, a couple of restaurants, a medical centre and a flea market once a month :)

Had lunch at The Fish Bowl.
Ordered the Fish Burger and chips.
Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly.
Carpark was big and free parking for two hours.
Have to dirsplay the parking ticket from the machine.
Becareful of pot holes in the carpark near the entry.

Very lovery place to spend your weekend. Plenty of restaurants or cafes to choose from, a big supermarket, and a big park for kids to play. Personally, I love to take my family here on Sundays.

A convenient location in between the residential and industrial complex.

This place is really busy during the lunch hours, and nothing could be more said except it has all the needs for both residents and workers.

Hungry? Bread? Chemist? Feeling lucky? Lotto? Coffee? Ciggy? Kebabs? Asian fusions?

Most of all the can be fulfilled here.

Was visiting the market eveey 3rd weekend. Disappointed only a few stalls were there.

Small marketplace that has a variety of shops; pharmacy, supermarket, cafe. Love the outdoor seating with tables, so you can enjoy a quick bite.

Love this place, great atmosphere, true multiculturalism at this place. I remember it being the dining room and shops for the Olympic village during the Sydney 2000 games and was privelleaged to enter the athletes village a number of times. The same vibe continues 20 years on

Plenty of shops and cafes. Fairly easy but open carparks. 2hr free parking with a ticket displayed. There are council around so make sure you don't overstay your ticket.

Lovely little shopping area

As a Professional Face Painter in Sydney, I have worked in Newington Market Place. Fantastic Fish and Chip Shop and Fantastic Kebab Shop.
Woolworths here is clean and a couple of nice little coffee places, as well as fresh Asian market.
Public Transport all around and a great community centre with many activities to do.

Small community group of businesses, all ground level and easy access.
Very nice takeaway and dine in restaurants.

Great fish and chip shop. Lots of other eateries as well.

Nice place to get local shopping done. Woolworths location is easily accessible with amenities nearby. Children playground. Small park and dog park are close by. Easily access by buses.

Parking can be hard to find on weekends. Good variety of good quality multicultural restaurants ie Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Lebanese, Australian, Japanese and Italian. Food prices are reasonable in most restaurants. Very good Korean butcher is a bonus.
