What a beautiful location close to pinjarra not far from the beaten track has toilets and picnic tables.
No rubbish bins so take rubbish home with you.
Swimming is beautiful in dam and enjoy the lookout and views.
Very quiet location

Wow; what an amazing spot. A beautiful small dam, with wonderful views to the west and south west! (The mine area to the north-west is fascinating, and quite ugly all at once. It is often quite nicely hidden behind trees, though!) Sadly, there is graffiti on the rocks, and some litter. There is also some broken glass at places. The paths can be slightly overgrown - but are very well constructed. The sort of place you could spend ages exploring! The bridge over the creek is fantastic after a night of rain! Well worth a visit. I recommend approaching from Scarp road near Dwellingup.

Oakley Dam is a favourite place of mine. It's beautiful & usually quiet. I've only ever had one leech on my foot while standing in the shallow section. There is a bit of rubbish that gets left behind which is a shame.

Small dam but what a view from this little gem! You could still swim here of even catch a trout. Great place for a relaxing afternoon.

What a gem! Quiet...seems not many people know about this place. Nice few car bays and picnic tabled. I arrived early and after a little explore i found the toilets. Another visitor said he did not even know their were toilets! No signage pointing to them. Anyway they appeared neglected so I was wondering if they were re gularly maintained when up pulled 2 parks n wildlife officers. Yes they are maintained fortnightly. The small walk to the dam involves climbing a few rocks. The swim and the view over the dam wall to the alcoa ravaged coastal plain was amazing. Carnaby black cockatoos screeched overhead and there was lots of birdsong from other less visible forest dwellers. Watch out for leeches. I narrowly escaped one about 12cm long! Even so, this place is wonderful.

One of my go to happy places. I've noticed some reviews/comments that I need to respond to. There are toilets to the left of the carpark, you just need to walk up the path a bit to see the building. Also there are picnic tables off the path to the toilet block, however, no rubbish bins so please remember to bring your own rubbish bag and take it with you when you leave.

Not a soul in sight, and what a sight it is! There's a lookout overlooking the sprawling agricultural land leading to Mandurah and the water has mussels.

Water seemed quite clean, you'll likely sink your leg half a metre into the mud though.

Make sure to hike up the trails and check out the giant rocks while you're at it. Some evidence of people trying to start a new civilisation are present: scattered shoes, nangs, firepits and the ever present overbearing of an archaic judicial system that's heavily politicised around the supply of vodka cruisers - luckily they must have been out looking for wild nangberries while we were there.

Water level was a little lower then expected but still an amazing place. This time a 5 star as had the luck of a big group of chill music band members showing up randomly and started playing a live show.

Nice little dam in tranquil place. Beautiful scenery from top of the hill. Cool to go for a dip in the summer.

This is a lovely place to go for a walk. I'd wait till winter for it to fill up. Word is there are leaches in the water so maybe no swimming?!

Beautiful area, and looks very refreshing for summer. My only question is why there are so many broken shells??
