Manor Estate Wines, Cellar Door, Luxury Accommodation & Function Venue - McLaren Vale

Peter was an absolute treasure and one of the best wine tasting hosts I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. His knowledge and education was second to none and literally every wine we tasted (about 7) was amazingly delicious. 8 of us ended up buying 14 bottles to take home in total. Will definitely be a regular visit from now on and the scenery and venue itself is absolutely stunning ❤

We came here on wine tasting, 4 of us. it was hot day, but the sparkling rose was refreshing. the food was lovely as well. definitely coming back

Excellent wine and cheese pairing experience. Peter is very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge of wines with us. Hero served us, he was very friendly and made this experience very enjoyable. The gardens are lovely in a quiet secluded area of McLaren Vale. Would definitely do this again and recommend this to friends and family.

Great day at Manor Estate Wines, just like experiencing a wonderful English manor. Relaxation starts as soon as you get there, the manor, the grounds, the tranquility. Topped off by the main reason you are there - fantastic wine, loved the Sparkling Shiraz, try it, you will feel the same. And trust me, I have tried a lot of Sparkling Shiraz in my time. This rates very high. Try the cheese platter, seafood platter, enjoy!

A stunning lunch in the beautiful hills of McLarenvale. Some of the most amazing wines we have tasted in ages. The 2013 Cab Sav, totally sublime. Brilliant service, great music. Highly recommend an afternoon in the Manor Estate secret wine garden. Thank you Peter and Hero for your hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful place and incredibly nice wines. I got the cab sav and brut. If I was rich I would of got one of every bottle. I'm bringing everyone I know here. Such a hidden gem

Peter showed us around, we even saw the local bandicoots. The must try is the sparkling Shiraz, I took a bottle home! Dog friendly venue.

Had the wine tasting in the secret garden. Beautiful day, beautiful atmosphere, lovely wines and tasty simple food. Would recommend if you want a casual day out with friends or family. Came home with some really nice wines to share.

This was an amazing place to celebrate our daughters wedding. Everything was just perfect thank you to Peter the owner. We can't thank Peter enough for his hospitality, easy planning and just helping with everything. Not too forget hero who was the friendliest caring waiter ever. The best wine, accommodation, gorgeous views and stunning venue. A place to never forget. Thank you for making again a memorable wedding.

I stay at Manor Estate a couple of times a year , it’s a great get away from the busy city life and very relaxing, for wine lovers there’s a great wine tasting cellar room with plenty of variety. I recommend Shiraz Special Vintage 2019. It’s a very good wine. Very nice easy drinking Shiraz. I am a fan of Shiraz, couldn’t be happier with this bottle. There are plenty more wine from the estate. I am very happy with service and Peter is an expert of wine.

Went for the first time today for wine tasting. Cold and wet weather didn't spoil the afternoon. Lovely, rustic and friendly surroundings. Great service, really great wines. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here at Easter. Peter the host was incredibly welcoming and up for a chat, suggesting plenty of great places to see and things to do while we visited Adelaide. The grand fireplace suite was amazing... high ceiling, big four poster bed and fireplace (we almost wish it was cold so we had an excuse to use it). It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing, but only 25 minutes from the beach and the city. We had champagne in the room and purchased an amazing bottle of his estate wine, highly recommended!

We had a group of 12 stay at the Manor for a birthday and absolutely loved the whole experience. Peter is a great character and an excellent host. We enjoyed a generous tasting of his selection of lovely wines before we set out to lunch and Peter looked after us on our return setting up some evening drinks on the lawn area. The grounds and surrounds are beautiful and what a treat to stay in an old Manor house! Peter even included a breakfast spread the next morning which was a great touch too. Highly recommend this location for any group style function. And if you haven't tried the wines - give them a go!
