Mount Bold Reservoir Dam & Lookout

Dam was awesome. Great views from walk lookouts. Nice short walk over dam itself (currently closed at far end but listed as open on website) The amenities were clean. An awesome quiet reserve and forested area with native flora and fauna.

Workmen were working at different areas hopefully fixing the rest of review.
The sign posts are confusing and not updated. Got disoriented on an 18km hike, admittedly I'm new to hiking. Website lists all walks as open. Half way through one walk you find closed signs, left me a long way along a loop walk confused as to what direction walk was closed. Including do not enter signs due to mosquito born disease. Not listed on website or main entrance. When I was there the gates shut early. Luckily I was parked outside main gate. Not overly impressed with state of signs on reserve given its a major tourist attraction. Still, it's a 5 star area.

Open up access to the lower walkway and the suspension bridge again. Whole state is turning into a nanny state, cotton wool on everything.
