Trattoria Ilaria

We went to play pool on a Friday night and because they didn’t serve food we decide to walk to a restaurant. Right across the rod is this gem of a restaurant.
Firstly we didn’t have a reservation which I highly suggest you get one.
They squeezed us into a small table.
The menu is a typical Italian menu and fair prices.
We had some Arancini Balls as an entree and they were delicious.
I had the Pappardelle con Polpette (Pasta and meat balls)and my wife had the Pappardelle Broccoli E Pancatta Affumicata (Pasta and Broccolini in a white wine sauce)
The service was really good, staff are efficient and friendly.
Our meals came out quickly, and timely.
The food for both meals were of a high standard
High quality home made pasta.
Great flavours.
I took home a ‘doggy bag’ due the size.
I cannot recommend Trattoria llaria highly enough. We enjoy good Italian food and this place is one of the best we have been to.
We will return but will make a reservation next time!

Lovely Italian restaurant in North Perth. Reservations necessary as its a busy place even on a Tuesday night. Great menu and specials menu,very big portions. Good drinks menu including mocktails. Definitely going back.
Only complaint I found it very warm inside buy hey that's its only fault. Staff were very friendly.

This restaurant has one of the best service I have ever experienced. The food is a 10/10. It ever authentic and delicious, very fresh. I have the best time there restaurant is very clean and the toilets, too.

What a gem! Great ambiance, awesome food and spectacular service. My wife and I were there with the kids to celebrate our anniversary (in Dec 2021) and we were so glad to have chosen this restaurant. Service was top notch even though it was a busy. We went away happy and satisfied.

Hands down the best Italian in Perth.

Really delicious pasta. Entrees are served at a generous size and can be shared between two. We tried the pasta and the textures, flavours were absolutely spot on. They give you a side of extra cheese and chilli/garlic oil to add on. Definitely worth a visit, for what you get at $35-45 per head it's great. Lovely ambience too. Many families, friends and couples. The service was also excellent.

Great venue and old fashioned service. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Good value. Meals were beautifully presented and generous serves. The best dinner and dessert we have had in years and very well priced.

Well this was a surprising gem! Tucked underneath a relatively new build on the corner of Fitzgerald and Angove, and opposite the iconic Rosemount Hotel, Trattoria Ilaria packs a punch in terms of generous serves, reasonable prices and prompt, friendly service. A meatball entree was large, with delicate pork and beef meatballs nestled in a rich tomato sauce with a slice of sourdough for mopping up. Delicious and generously portioned mains of goat cutlets, chicken schnitzel and rib eye with prawns were beaten out by the tiger prawn special of the day - beautifully flame grilled (and huge).tiger prawns for the win. We ordered a roast vegetable side, but it probably wasn't necessary as Ilaria - unlike other restaurants - is not sparse with the vegetable accompaniments to a meal (no meat with a drizzle of sauce and a sprig of broccolini here!). Nice selection of wines and beer, although we were unaware of the Monday and Tuesday BYO/no corkage special (take note!). With four of us dining, we were pretty delighted to walk out with very full bellies ( no room for dessert) for just over $200 including drinks. Make a booking and head down.

It’s a nice simple Italian restaurant with a menu that was full of flavour and staff that were friendly. We ordered the beef special that had bacon and veggies, and the Pappardelle Ragu. The beef was so tender and flavoursome. Benissimo.

Spending a birthday dinner at this little gem Restarant . I would said 4F, Fantastic service , Fantastic food, Fantastic atmosphere and Fantastic people. Thank you for everything.

Traditional Italian Trattoria with authentic tasting food.
I chose the Bruschetta, Insalata Verde and an entree Polpette.
All were very satisfying.

Very nice gem, we had some arancini and bruschetta, tiramisu was superb and very nice and accommodating staff as well, definitely 5 stars for them!

Had a delicious family lunch for my son’s birthday today at Trattoria Ilaria for seven people. Everything from the way we were greeted, the amazing food, the friendly service and happy birthday song for my son was superb. The food portions were generous and the timing of dishes was fantastic. A great find and we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great celebration lunch.

A busy little place this one. The meal on Saturday night was amazing. So quick between entree and the main. Definitely will come back again
