Quandong Apartments

We received a lovely warm country welcome from Pat. The room is large and well appointed. Full kitchen, TV etc. Very clean. Comfy bed in a separate large bedroom. Very quite, we slept well. Lots to do in Quorn. Walk the town, walking trails. Delicious breakfast and lunch in the cafe next door. Short stroll to the Transcontinental for dinner. Laundromat just down the street. Highly recommend Quandong Apartments.

What a great find in the little town of Quorn. Immaculately presented and very well equipped. Lots of unexpected inclusions. Spacious. Easy parking right in front.
Owner Pat is super easy to work with and quick to respond to emails etc.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

A brilliant place to stay in Quorn, scrupulously clean, comfortable bed, well furnished accommodation and an immaculate bathroom along with all the necessary kitchen items. Well located in town. Pat is a warm and welcoming host. Our only disappointed was we didn’t book for longer. We plan to return.

Nice cafe, good service and the food was great. We sat outside to eat as it was a beautiful day. Such a nice vibe sitting outdoors in this cute little town.
My vegetarian patties were delicious!

Had heard this was a great place to stop for a homemade pie. Just a total taste sensation. My husband had the beef and pepper as well as the kangaroo and claret and declared both superb especially the roo pie. I had the chicken and leek pie which has to be the best pie I have ever eaten....I am not a great fan of pies but would travel to have another of these. We ordered the quandong pies and took them with us to eat later.....DELICIOUS!

Had a beautiful roast pumpkin Turkish roll today - one of the nicest sandwiches I’ve ever had! We had a really nice chat with Pat, the owner too. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Lovely stay in Quorn in the Quandong Apartments (The Flinders). The place was clean and had a proper lounge space with recliners, which are a must after going for hikes in the region, and the little decoration made it feel so lovely and warmly. They had a full size fridge and stove so could cook dinner even though there are a couple of pubs in walking distance. And walking next door to the Quandong Cafe is a must for breakfast. The owner is also very lovely and kind, and full of useful information to make the stay in the area even better. 🙂

Great stop for breakfast and lunch or afternoon coffee and cake. For lunch my partner and I had the bruschetta and Fettler in turkish bread and finished off with Quandong slice. All very nice and recommended. The following day we stopped by for brekky and was equally pleased with our choices of small breakfast and Quandong waffle. Service staff were friendly. If in the area do stop and support a local business. Love to come back again.

Great cafe. Definitely visit if looking for a drink, snack or larger meal.

Feels very covid safe. Great selection of sweet or savoury bites. Lots of quandong options and quandong chutney in a range of meals (they even do a quandong milkshake). Reasonably priced as well. Lots of seating options (both outside and inside) from individual to larger groups.

Excellent cafe...freshly baked scones, great lunches and fantastic coffee. All of this with very friendly staff. What else would you want in a small country town.

Clean, comfortable and good amenities. Pat is a delight to communicate with. The quandong cafe next door is truly delish with good friendly service.

Delicious food. Wonderful manager and staff. The State covid police have given them full marks for covid compliance. They are doing an incredible job in trying covid times. Thank you for keeping us safe and feeding us yummy food.😋

The Quandong is a unique delectable wild fruit that grows in the Flinders Ranges and region, and how appropriate for the eponymous Quorn cafe to have it as its namesake. Over the decafes the menu has pleased locals and visitors alike, tempting us with Quandong flavoured treats and good wholesome food. I've always loved coming in to look at the collection of photo boards from the many films made in the area, and see the latest art and photos exhibited... and they know how to make a good double shot latte. Well done to all of the staff to keep the Cafe going during the tricky times of Covid, offering everyone a safe and inviting venue for coffee and meals.

Scones were to die for. Tea and coffee perfect. Service excellent. Prices reasonable. Clean, tidy. Great place. Will be back for lunch and their famous quondong cheesecake..

Beautiful accommodation, home away from home. Be sure to try some of Pat's scones next door at her cafe. Pat was so friendly and couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Thank you. Highly recommended a stay here. Our apartmemt was "The Shiralee"

My wife and I love the food and coffee here. Their homemade baked goods are delicious. We always make an excuse to stop here on our Flinders trips.

Friendly staff. Nice and warm on a freezing day. Food great especially the great carrot cake. Don't all rush the place until we have left the town though😁

Passed through on our way home from a week at Aroona Valley. Craving a hot coffee and quandong pie, we arrived right on closing time. The owner unlocked the doors and we were welcomed inside. Fabulous, friendly service. Thank you so much. We will return ☺

Stopped by on the way back from the Flinders, was absolutely worth it. We got a massive slice of quondong pie and some scones with quondong jam and were absolutely stuffed. Portions were large and everything was delicious, would highly recommend stopping through
