Bakehouse '38 Restaurant & Guesthouse

By far the best guesthouse stay I have ever had!
Shannon and Clay’s humble and warm-hearted nature made us feel so comfortable and welcomed during our stay - not to mention the beautiful attention to detail throughout the bakehouse, and absolutely mouth-watering meals and treats from the original bakehouse oven!
Could not recommend enough, and will definitely be back again!

Centrally located accomodation in Cowaranup offereing very clean rooms and ammenities. Very friendly well organised booking and registration, 100% COVID preparation and supplies. Parking and Gardens well maintained, Disability Friendly and Aware. Rooms have shampoo, aircon, dishes, heaps of hangers, and much much more
RELIABLE WIFI, Great rates... If I knew where the pillows were from I would get some. Thank you Shannon for a great stay. I will not hesitate to stay again.

SO beautiful! The owner has done a wonderful job bringing this piece of history back to life. Don't be deceived by its heritage - every creature comfort you need is here, it's just been hidden behind beautiful and clever design. The owner is very attentive to detail and really makes an effort to make sure that her costumers are comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely enjoyed ourselves staying at Bakehouse '38. Was a comfortable sleep with clean amenities. Lovely to see the history is kept within the walls of the building. Hats off to the owner for preserving history and allowing the insides of the accomodation to still share the history too.
