Discovery Bay Estuary Beach

Stunning views from top parking area.
It was too cold to swim but enjoyed walking along the beach until sunset and further upstream by the rocky head. Came back in the morning as well.
There is plenty of parking, and changerooms.

Beautiful location. Well worth a short walk to 3rd lookout.

Amazing views...so many different shades of blue in the water.
Tip: Walk all the way to the ocean from the google maps parking location.

Lovely little detour. I wish I had Brought my fishing rod as it looked like a great place to fish. Bring a picnic and enjoy

Amazingly beautiful. Lots of places to sit down and park for the day. Great for kids. Some short walks around to get even more beautiful views of the shoreline. Try and plan your visit to coincide with low tide for Max enjoyment.

Super nice... Make sure bring along your own tent because you don't want became 'cooked'. Ready to spend some times there as it is a excellent places for relax. Pipi still there but make sure you have your license ready and within the limit else get your money ready to pay. Be reasonable and responsible so then our children and grandchildren still able to enjoy this wonderful place.

Good place for a relaxing swim.

Great little visit to one of the most beautiful beaches. Not so much for swimming but the water is so clear and blue. Saw some ducks and swans swimming around.

Great shallow inner beach for younger age to play around. BBQ, Dogs are prohibited. Beautiful place for family to enjoy with. Strongly recommended.

Have visited Nelson several times over the past few years. So many beautiful conservation parks to enjoy! Amazing!

Nice quiet place, not many people visit here, good for fishing and getting pipis, not that deep, you can go to swimming

Lots of birdlife. Good fishing. Pleasant family swimming spot.

I love to go fishing here, there are sometimes bloodworms in the sand and there good bat.
